I hate to do it, as this is a nice location on the river, nice people, and a nice menu with plenty of vegetarian pizzas. They had some New York pictures on the wall. However, no self respecting NYC establishment would ever put out a pizza like this. Between the crust, sauce, cheese, onions, and arugula, this was a remarkably tasteless pizza. None of it shone through at all. Tasteless, thin white crusts are emblematic of Australian pizza, but sometimes the toppings bail it out. Not this time. I could hardly even tell there was tomato sauce there, and the onions were soggy and lifeless.
The bar isn't high for pizza around here, but even in Noosa, I've found better pizza. I simply couldn't in good conscience rate this place higher. read more
