Whereas many of the stores are full of souvenirs, Humanite sells fashionable clothing and accessories that are on trend but also classy. They also have lots of fun gift-y items. The store has pretty displays so aside from perusing the merchandise it was fun to see how they had everything styled. Upon entering from the quaint screen door it was a really nice visit and I can see how ladies of all ages would find something special here to take home with them. The staff was friendly and conveniently there is a bench inside and out for the non-shoppers.

Specifically, I am a big fan of the BC stores including BC Outdoors, BC Market on the Square and BC Bakery. Regarding Bryson City Outdoors, they are connected to a tap hours so gear on the left and beer on the right. What's not to love? If you don't love beer they have wine too! Much to my surprise, I skipped the beer and went for gear. After perusing fleece jackets, hiking shoes, headlamps and the such, I landed on a new pair of socks. Not that I needed anything but the employees were so kind I just had to support this local business somehow. Hmm, maybe I should have gotten a pint after all. Lots of good stuff and quality brands for the whole family - all nicely organized. Overall, a great place located on the corner of Main Street and Everett. I left with size small which will be big on me, seems like the sizing runs large, but it'll be cozy! All in all a wonderful place to stop and buy a keychain, any type of mountain-themed clothing, or any number of other things. Prices seemed reasonable or as expected.
