    Grapes!
    Erin B.

This place is beautiful countryside. The tour guide was knowledgable. The grapes are all grown at the winery to make the wine. That is what makes them an estate winery. We were provided with glasses to taste the wine. Some was too dry for me, but several were deliciously light and sweet. Come here and relax. It is a great way to spend some time on a beautiful day.

The grandstand has a strange vertical design with minimal seating, and a staircase from the apron. The apron has tables with umbrellas. I had been to Belterra previously twice, but would not ordinarily go for racing. It is lower tier racing. If you live nearby, I assume it could be an entertainment option for you. 63

We went up to our room to check it out. It smelled moldy/musty/stale as well. My wife ran a diffuser which helped tremendously. The armoire and the dresser that holds the mini fridge were in pretty rough shape. The tub had chips and stains in it. The headboard of the bed is pleather/vinyl and it was peeling and flaking. There is no microwave in the room. We changed and headed to the pool. This was probably the highlight of the week. The pool area is nice and the staff at the pool bar were friendly and talkative. We quickly learned that beers at the pool bar were colder than any others at Belterra. We stopped by and hung out at the pool and pool bar three times during our stay. We sent to the Stadium sports Bar and Grill Wednesday evening with some friends. The food was OK. After our first night we realized the bed was hard as a rock and the pillows were awful and we would just have to get through our stay. The next morning, I went to Nosh to get some breakfast. I ordered two Bacon, Egg and Cheese English Muffins and took them up to the room. The little oven they use is apparently on a preset timer based on what you order. It overcooked both our sandwiches. The muffins were almost burned and egg was chewy. My wife did say the coffee I ordered her was the best in the hotel. The entire hotel felt like you were in a walk in freezer. It didn't matter if you were in the lobby, casino or the conference rooms. everyone in our group complained how cold the hotel was. The hotel needs a complete renovation. I don't think it has been upgraded since it was built. My wife and I agreed that we won't be back to Belterra.

I don't love the cocktail bars with aloof service that seem to think ignoring you is excellent customer service. The happy hour slaps - the prices are actually really good and it goes until 7pm. My bestie is obsessed with their low price on La Marca. I have tried several of their daiquiris and cocktails and haven't found a loser yet. They don't have food but that just means they are pet-friendly. There is plenty of food in the area (for pete's sake, OTR Kroger is across the street). I wouldn't mind some snack availability but it's fine. I love the Key West/Hemingway-inspired decor. You'll be comfortable no matter how dressed up or dressed down you are. I love when the weather allows for the big windows to be open. The patio is great people watching. There is also several parking options nearby. The meters on Court St, a pay lot on the next block, or if you spend at least $15 at Kroger, you can get three hours of free parking. And that's the perfect amount to spend on snacks! Check out Pilar if you're looking for a laid-back vibe and decor but top-shelf service and cocktail options. Don't forget your dog!

Jeremy and Mark have a beautiful B&B and the attention to detail will exceed any expectation. My husband and I stayed 5 nights in the Rose Cottage for his 50th birthday in early September. The amazing cottage was comfortable and quiet with everything needed for our stay. The main house is beautifully appointed and decorated and your hosts think of every detail. Nice touches included flavored whiskeys and treats made by Mark available in the common area at all times. The breakfast available each morning (prepared by Mark) was amazing and the menu is diverse enough to cater to any taste. Jeremy and Mark are truly passionate about Louisville and Jeremy provided awesome suggestions for tours, dining, and other activities. Jeremy also keeps a fine selection of bourbons in-house and his Black Walnut Old-Fashioned is a must try! Jeremy and Mark have forged relationships locally that can give your stay something extra, as well. We booked the Birthday Package, which included a bouquet of flowers, delicious cake from an established local bakery and two of the Black Walnut Old Fashioned's. We also added on the Angels Envy Package which was well worth the money! It included two leather covered glasses, a giftcard to a local steakhouse that has an amazing assortment of whiskeys, a special bottle of Angel's Envy and two tickets to their distillery tour. Which ended up being one of our favorite, and most informative tours of our stay. My husband and I found Inn at Woodhaven to be absolutely spectacular and we were already booking our next stay within two weeks of being home. We truly felt like we were leaving a friend when we departed.

I dont like when a restaurant overs does the brulee... umm, mill 4 iron . You'll like this place. The pizza was yummy and the noodle dish was cheesy and creamy.

Barchetta di Pane - this was the next actually which surprised us all. The bread, cheese, and sauce were all so flavorful, fresh, and complimented each other. TS Farms Chicken Quarter- this was very good. My friend who got the branzino ends dip likening this more and I ended up liking the branzino more. The chicken was definitely more filling than the branzino. Branzino- this was light and refreshing. It's a small portion but very good. I would order this again for sure. Rhubarb Pastry - fantastic. Maybe a touch sweet for me but everyone at our table loved this. Service was great. Very knowledgeable of the menu and kind. Everything came out at a good speed: not slow and not too fast. (I hate when things come out too fast). It's a NY style atmosphere with lots of natural light in the front from windows and darker in the back. There is also outdoor seating I have yet to check out cause it's been too hot.
