A winding road straight through the woods leads to the old Odenwald-style farmhouse complex from which one can easily reach the Felsenmeer by foot, which is always well worth a visit, especially with children. The menu is sort of limited, where you pick a handful of items to be served on a single large plate and shared. We got 3 kinds of beef, chicken, lentils, and white cabbage. They all had a good flavor, and some were quite spicy. It was served with lots of bread on the side, which was flat, soft, yet somewhat fluffy. The way to eat this is by grabbing the food with the bread (kind of like making a little wrap). It's 18 EUR per person, which is a decent deal. I also got the non-alcoholic "momo is back" cocktail (9 EUR), which was a mix of lime juice, grenadine, peach juice, and guava juice. It was tasty and served in a nice cup with garnish on top.
