Not only did they do a fabulous job again, but when the pandemic came, they went above and beyond to ensure my invisaligns would get "replenished". Most of his key staff (Joan and Gale) have been with him for the duration of this tenure (20+ years). They are all pleasant to be around, very kid friendly, and certainly keep the office beautiful. They continue to invest in the best orthodontic technology, and hold their team to the highest degree of professionalism. Dr. Palmieri is highly qualified, very thorough and a gentleman. I stumbled on this office by chance and truthfully it was one best decision I could have made. Doctor Beridze was a pleasure to deal with and saved me from further dental issues down the line by being proactive and extremely detailed, from explaining every procedure and showing me what work needed to be done to making sure I was comfortable. It's been 3 years and I still come in for my usual cleanings, I highly recommend taking your time visit their offices. (Disregard the racism comment from a previous review someone posted, as a Hispanic male who sends his family to this office I've never had anything but amazing things to say about this office)

Making matters worse the guy tried to funnel me to his wife to do the root canal. I was livid and said absolutely not. I looked her up online and she had terrible reviews with horror stories of botched root canals and also found that she was not a trained endodontist. I drew the line there and requested a list of endodontists from my insurer and did extensive research. Dr. Karen Gear had impeccable reviews and glowing references. I figured if anyone was going to help me get through this process without looking at me like a walking piggy bank, she was my best bet. Dr. Gear did not let me down. She listened to my concerns and was very sympathetic to my uneasiness. She explained everything that was going to happen, was extremely careful throughout the procedure, allaying fears and apologizing for every required needle prick and prod. The office staff were super helpful even though they had to struggle with the referring dentist who I was now preparing to leave. Dr. Gear's assistant even recognized me walking into the building, remembered my name, and chatted with me in the elevator. The professionalism and courtesy couldn't have been better and made the entire process more comfortable. Dr. Gear's office is immaculate. Not enough people talk about the condition of the offices in reviews, but I think it says a lot about the practice. Dr. Gear is technologically inclined and uses digital records, along with photos to verify client identity, and super fast digital x-rays (instantly up on the monitor for her to view rather than having the photos processed the old way) all at her fingertips from anywhere in the office. She and her assistant were having a discussion about a new piece of equipment they recently bought and tried but how they preferred the older one for a number of reasons: this tells me she cares about what she is doing and is making informed decisions in her clients' best interests. Also they let me watch news during the procedure to help keep my mind off what was going on. I cannot thank her enough for the great work and care she showed me. Every other client I saw at her office during my two visits were glowing and smiling and it felt as though their experiences were just as positive as mine.

I knew something was very wrong with one of my back teeth and finally decided to visit Dr. Gear after my daughter went to her and just loved her. Sure enough I needed to have a root canal! The mere mention of the word got my heart racing. Dr. Gear listened to my fears (mainly fear of pain and needles). I explained that in the past dentist could never get me numb enough for any procedure to be painless. Dr. Gear made it very clear that that was unacceptable. She said a patient should never be in fear of pain. She assured me that with the necessary pain medication and giving it time to work, I would not feel a thing. She was absolutely right! Now I am a pretty petite women but it took a elephants dose to numb the area and Dr. Gear waited for around twenty minutes just to make sure it had really taken affect. Through out the procedure Dr Gear told me exactly what she was doing and encouraged me to let her know if I was feeling any pain. When she started with the drill I did indeed feel it. Dr Gear stopped immediately and administered more numbing medication and waited for it to take affect. After that it was smooth sailing. I am now preparing to have a wisdom tooth extracted thanks to a recommendation by Dr. Gear. I have met my oral surgeon Dr. Miranda and she is just like Dr. Gear. Intelligent, informative, and warm. I am so happy to have found a compassionate physician who listens and is responsive to my needs. THANK YOU Dr. Gear.

Yesterday I walked in to see if it were possible to schedule a cleaning the next day. There were 4 open slots at the time (strange & telling for a dental office). I proceeded to make an appointment. Before doing so I asked I could cancel if needed before 10am the next morning, Samantha said sure. I have a hectic work schedule given that I was making a last-minute appointment I just needed this insurance before confirming. She told me completely fine. Then she proceeded to make my appointment, once realizing that I was an existing client she retracted her statement. Confusing? Also revealing that she saw my insurance. I told her I would not put the appointment unless I could call the next morning before 10 AM to confirm or cancel. Long story short, we agreed and booked. The next morning I called at approximately 9:20 AM to inform her that my work schedule would not allow me to make the 3 PM. Samantha lied and claimed to have sent me an email the prior day stating that I could no longer cancel even though we had a conversation about it. And if I canceled I would have to pay $100. What?! I completely understand the need for a cancellation fee. And under any other given circumstance would understand why they were charging me. However I spoke to Samantha about this less than 24 hours before. It's still behooves me how someone could lie. And then ask why didn't you just call me like you do for any other appointment? Her response: " I am not obligated to call every patient. My time does not permit." She refused to cancel the appointment and told me that if I ever try to come back I'd have to pay $100. How unbelievably shortsighted of someone. I've been coming to the dental office for the past 2 years. So rude and disgusting. Unfortunately this practice is now lost a patient due to improper handling from your front desk staff. I am leaving this review, following up with the practice owner, and making sure everyone I know is aware of the scam going on here.

Dr. Douglas Magner is perhaps the worst and most unprofessional dentist I have ever had in my life…read more Not only is his "bedside manner" the worst as a doctor, he damaged my teeth so badly, I required TWO appointments from an emergency dentist and another dentist to completely redo his lazy work. Went in to have a cavity filled, only to walk into him screaming at the receptionist in front of patients. Could hear him arguing with a patient in the next room, and when he came to me (finally) I had to ASK for him to wear gloves please. I could tell at the time he was not doing due diligence on my mouth and trying to up-sell me on orthodontia (which I already have, and I still have the metal bar in my mouth...to which the dentist who ACTUALLY fixed my teeth asked WHY because my teeth look great) He completely botched my filling -- I ended up in an emergency dentist a week later, narrowly avoiding a root canal. And now, about a year later, I went to my childhood family dentist and he was horrified by what Dr. Magner had done to my mouth (so for the record, this is the SECOND appointment I had to have to FIX the damage that Dr. Magner had done to my mouth). In addition to the emergency procedure, I had to have the entire filling removed and redone because he had done it so lazily that there was a gap (so additional decay had been allowed to occur), and he had left some hanging over, resulting in me being unable to floss, jeopardizing the tooth in question and the one behind it. Avoid at ALL costs!
