Mr. G's Flea Market is a large outdoor Flea Market with at least as hundred stalls selling used and…read morenew goods and those selling fruits, vegetables and things to eat and drink. We always would go around the outdoor stalls in the morning when we got there and making the big circle around the grounds. Then, it was getting warmer so we went inside for the other vendors. I would always get the fruits and vegetables I couldn't get in my local grocery stores such as Japanese squash that is so good in Albondigas and caldo de pollo. Then it was about lunch, so I'd go bythe stalls that served food to see what looked good. I always got an agua fresca to go-usually, mango or watermelon, if they had it. There is a minimal charge for parking and can get super busy with a line baking down the road. The parking charge is fast and you get in quickly or go before the rush. I definitely recommend going to Mr. G's Flea Market. It is always a good time looking and finding things you want, and lunch is cheap and delicious plus, since it's so large, I call it exercise so it's a great day on all fronts!!

Upon entry are their small vintage pieces and jewelry. There are at least three staff members ready to flag down if you want to look at an item inside one of the cases. The prices do range depending on the age of the item, as well as the commodity. More rare items will naturally be priced higher. I didn't allow myself to thoroughly browse as my friend and I were fatigued from the work week, but I did walk away with a small glass dachshund, gorgeous black chandelier earrings, and a faux diamond necklace. It will be a great statement piece for a night out. I was told that the shop is only open the first Saturday of every month, but I would double check on the accuracy of their hours of operation.

I have a lot of succulents and cacti, a couple orchids and some other random plants so a good plant sale is always a good place for me. A cool part about having the market here is that you also get to stroll through the creative clay area and see the art that people there have made, which is also for sale. They also have some artists working wheels so people could see how pots start. I think I enjoyed this part of the market more than the vendor portion this time around but I know I will be back.
