There is usually a large and good selection of items ranging from furniture to art, book and music records. I found some excellent bargains on furniture from the 1930s. I love that they are usually able to work on the price with you, and they get in a lot of new stock regularly so if you don't find what you need one week it may well be there the next week. They are also able to do deliveries in Sarasota for a reasonable price. Great customer service

We always would go around the outdoor stalls in the morning when we got there and making the big circle around the grounds. Then, it was getting warmer so we went inside for the other vendors. I would always get the fruits and vegetables I couldn't get in my local grocery stores such as Japanese squash that is so good in Albondigas and caldo de pollo. Then it was about lunch, so I'd go bythe stalls that served food to see what looked good. I always got an agua fresca to go-usually, mango or watermelon, if they had it. There is a minimal charge for parking and can get super busy with a line baking down the road. The parking charge is fast and you get in quickly or go before the rush. I definitely recommend going to Mr. G's Flea Market. It is always a good time looking and finding things you want, and lunch is cheap and delicious plus, since it's so large, I call it exercise so it's a great day on all fronts!!

Also had some decent priced fresh seafood. Now if you're like me you really enjoy more of the antique stuff and this Flea lacked that. Its mainly a lot of new market style things a huge Wish app. The left corner of the flea had maybe 2-3 rows of the some storage auction looking items a few small vendors with games and antique stuff. Its definitely not my style of a flea market.

Also some sellers offer a certain % off their things during specified dates. So off I went looking for my treasure. This place has about 8 aisles under roof. Each aisle has colored lines on the floor to indicate your location. Red line means you are located in the Red Aisle. Blue line is Blue Aisle etc. It was hot and humid today and this place , for the most part , is cooled by ceiling fans scattered about. My suggestion is to visit when the weather is better. ( the winter months ) I walked around for almost an hour and a half before the humidity did me in. Did I buy anything ? Why yes , I bought some junk today. ( LOL ) No treasure to be found this time , There are several food vendors selling various types of food, hot dogs etc. Plenty of seating available in the food zone. If you come when the weather is cooler and spend more time searching for your treasure, I'm sure you'll find it. There are so many items for sale here that even if you don't find your treasure , I'm sure you'll treasure whatever you find ... There is free parking and free entry. What a fun afternoon! I have been meaning to go to this market for a while and am glad I did. It…read morewas September's market so it was a hot one. Dress for the weather because part of it is outside and the inside space has a lot of people coming in and out so if it is hot outside, it is hot inside. There were a lot of cool vendors at the market. I was looking for plants that were different from what I already have. I have a lot of succulents and cacti, a couple orchids and some other random plants so a good plant sale is always a good place for me. In addition to the plants there were many other vendors with crafty items, or specialty items or jewelry. However, I didn't find anything that I couldn't live without. A cool part about having the market here is that you also get to stroll through the creative clay area and see the art that people there have made, which is also for sale. They also have some artists working wheels so people could see how pots start. I think I enjoyed this part of the market more than the vendor portion this time around but I know I will be back. There were also a couple food vendors outside but nothing spoke to me that day and since Three Sisters Brewery is a block from the parking area, I went over there to have a snack and a CBD bev.

This is my third visit to the St. Pete Indie Market and my first time going for the holiday market…read morein December. It was a beautiful day and there were a ton of people at the market and on the streets of St. Pete. I'm not sure if the market had grown since I haven't been in quite a few months or if there were more vendors due to it being the holidays but it seemed a little bigger this time. I love spending my money with locals! I saw LoudMouth Lips which is a fave place to get locally made lip and eye color. She had the most vibrant colors and I've found myself taking some risk on brightening up my makeup selections. I found some new folks too. An artist from the St. Pete area named Marcus who does some incredible mixed media prints. Some folks who sale yummy sausage and call themselves Crooked Johnson! Body Butters by Vanessa who makes her own lotions and colognes. The Sandoval and Amber smell fabulous. And one of my other faves for vintage clothes and accessories, Orange Grove Vintage. You can find all of these on Facebook and IG! So many awesome vendors! The shop and merchandise are spotless, I could browse for hours at the array of gold and silver displayed in shining cases. I've gone in several times and Bogart, the dog is a friendly greeter as are Nigel and his staff. I'm having a ring resized and repronged and can't wait until it's ready. I've had other items repaired and with his fair prices to sold some gold odds and ends. Those bits of 14k we all probably have laying in jewelry boxes... broken chains, lost earring mates, ugly pieces, lol, it all adds up and I believe Nigel pays generously.
