We found this bright spot while on a food walking tour. They other stops were quite packed and couldn't accommodate our large group. This restaurant had nice patio seating that was full but they were able to seat us inside. Staff was attentive and had a fairly good grasp on English. We all got a variety of tapas and coffee drinks. Many tried the bombón which was like a shot with a tube of sweetened condensed milk. If you like sweet, they said it was good. The goat cheese pastry was very tasty. The octopus unfortunately was a bit tougher than I cared for. The eggplant was very unique and something I've never had like that. Would definitely have again though. SO SO SO GOOD!!!! You should go here!!!! You can tell that whoever designed the menu loves food and playing with different flavors. Despite being in a very toursity area, this is truly a phenomenal meal. Service was quick and efficient. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere on the street. The service was fairly impersonal but responsive enough. Portions are enormous - I had to take one of my parts home. I like that. The house white was pretty bad but also strong, so it wins there. The goat cheese salad is absolutely to die for. I've been joking with my friends that I think they sprinkle crack on it ; ) The octopus tapa was glorious - they serve it with tender potatoes and spicy Mayo. Yum. Jury still out on the tuna tartar - that's the one I brought home for tonight's dinner. The whole feast: 25 euro. Classy and modern setting too. Can't beat it. Checked out the reviews before coming and was glad I did. The restaurant scores points on every front; service is excellent, food is delicious and filling, drinks are massive, decor is nice. There's patio seating out front too. It was pretty busy the evening we dined in. We had been searching for a place to eat at since we hadn't eaten pretty much all day as we were out and about visiting tourist sites. To start, ordered the homemade guac dip. Served with tortilla chips. I had a situation with my order initially, which was promptly resolved. Both me and my dining companion enjoyed our meals very much. Their burger plate was huge. One meal would have been more than suitable for two. The grilled goat cheese salad hit the spot too, though with a different dressing, it would have tasted much better. This place is incredible!! The service was great. They were busy and I know felt some pressure... not always super fast, but really made a huge effort. They were very friendly, but the food...! Man oh man. It was SO SO good! We had a hummus starter. Great. I had the trufffle ravioli. I've never really thought I liked truffle sauces, but after a week of fish or paella, I was ready for a pasta... and it was FANTASTIC. I literally scraped the bowl licking the sauce off of my fork. I am a huge fan of this place. I don't normally do this on holidays, but while my husband and I were recently in Malaga, we actually ate here three nights in a row for dinner. The first night we ate there was a friday night, and I'll admit that when we arrived for dinner (about 9pm) this place was packed and busy, and the service was a bit slow. That being said, the food was fantastic. The other two nights we ate there, service was much more quick, and the food I swear got better and better each time when we went. When you first sit down, after they take your drink order, they provide a small plate of olives for you free of charge, which was really nice to much on while waiting. Their drinks menu covers all the basics, so everyone that goes will be happy. Also, they do have english translations on the menu so you can decipher what you're eating (yay for people who don't speak spanish). They have a full bar, beer, and wine. The first night we were there we ate the oxtail with truffle mashed potatoes. I'll admit you couldn't really taste the truffles, but overall as a dish it was quite tasty. The other nights we were there, we had a mixture of tapas, and the steak. Unfortunately, their food menu is so large, I do not remember all of the things on the menu that we ordered. But I will say that their cod dish with peppers and onions, their potatoes malaga style, and new york steak were FANTASTIC. I wouldn't have changed a thing. By the way, did I mention the average tapas was like 2 euros?! My glass of wine was 2 euros... my husbands beer was 1.50! Now if only we could get these prices in Dublin! So if you're looking for a place to sit outside, people watch, have some inexpensive but super tasty food, this place is perfect! read more

Ok - food is 5 star, it was busy and around 9:00pm so basically rush hour. Our waiter got us drinks and then sort of ignored us. But - he was waiting for an outside table to open up for us (we had to sit inside initially). Got our table outside - thank you wait staff! Things slowed down a bit & service was way more even. Tapas were amazing-Iberian ham, manchego cheeses, tuna, asparagus and the most amazing grilled goat cheese. This place is amazing - worth seeking out and the wine was great too! read more

Nice service with relaxed atmosphere. Tapas are priced well and good portion size. My husband and I shared about five tapas and were pretty full. Also glasses of wine for 2€, fabulous! They have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. Clean bathrooms and conveniently located. read more

The restaurant felt a bit too touristy, but if that's okay with you, you probably will be satisfied with this place. Their sangria is delicious, the prices seemed more than fair for the quality of the food and the ambiance at the sidewalk tables provided great people watching. The food here is excellent, including a properly thick entrecôte steak as you would find in Texas where I'm from. However, the service is slow and uncaring towards non Spaniards, even though I spoke only in Spanish. Order a second drink as soon as your first one is served so your food won't get cold while you wait with a dry mouth. read more

Perfect for a lunch after visiting the Picasso museum, but definitely also a good choice for a warm summer evening when you are looking for something uncomplicated.
