Self-service bar where you get food on a stick. Each stick has a difference price. I got the seafood type of food. delicious!

Very good tapas restaurant in the centre of Malaga's pedestrian area. Very tasty and original selection for a reasonable price. Friendly service by staff who speak English and, for a few, French. A very good option in the area.

Good food. Easy to select cold tapas. You choose. A little confusing for the first time, then you are good to go.

Absolutely great for a quick snack. Nice white house wine. Choice of great tapas and someone always brings around warm dishes.

Picture in your head what a stereotype tapas place should look like and I'm pretty sure something…read moreclose to this is what most would imagine. I love this place. Service is slightly slow because of the amount of people that they serve at any given time. So yes understandably, you will probably have to flag your waiter/waitress if you want anything after your initial order is taken because it can seem a little chaotic. The place is total old school Andalusia. How about the food? The food is just as authentic as the look of this place, which is always packed. I had the typical tomato salad with fish which is always delicious because the basic ingredients are always so fresh. Tomatoes stand out here because they are soo good. I enjoyed patatas bravas, salpicon, gildas, jamon, olives and croquetas de toro. What better to wash it all down with than a cup of Jerez amontillado and a glass of tinto de verano. Those that have left mediocre reveiws probably don't know what to expect or have no idea what to order, which, will probably end in an unfavorable experience. If you want a genuine experience of Malaga, then this place should be on your list of places to eat.

Highly Recommended by the Front desk young lady at our hotel…read more Usually packed. Got a table and Javi from Sevilla is taking awesome care of us. Javi made great recommendations. Vermut and several small plates. Order from the Lola Specialties; they are truly different and delicious. However, the whole experience was ruined by two customers smoking strong foul smell Camels at a table. WHERE IS MANAGEMENT...? So Sad. I started coughing and had to leave without dessert and coffee.

It's a beautiful restaurant but when me and my friends went in they asked if we…read morewanted a drink and we said yes, then when we were asked if we wanted food we said no only drinks tonight, when the waiter responded with "this is a sophisticated restaurant and if you are going to order a drink you need to order food" then proceeded to take the plates and utensils away. I personally feel the situation could have been handled better, like telling us prior to ordering the drinks or even wording it more politely. It made us not want to even order food at that point since they were so rude about it so we just got the check because we apparently weren't "sophisticated" enough for the restaurant.

After attempting to find a decent tapas restaurant near our accommodations, and failing miserably,…read morewe happened to walk by this place and decided to try it out. It was brilliant! We were seated at a small table outside (perfect for people watching) and given a menu. It was a little difficult making a decision, as both everything listed on the menu and every dish we saw go by our table looked absolutely delicious. We finally decided on Battered prawns with treacle and a coriander mayonnaise and the Argentine steak with tomatoes and roasted potatoes. We also ordered a Rioja tinto - Biga 'crianza' to pair with our food. Of note, they have many wines available by the glass. The prawns were incredibly tasty, tender, and the coriander mayonnaise was a perfect accompaniment. The Argentine steak was cooked perfectly and served with a delicious chimichurri sauce that brought a tear to my eye it was that freakin' good. The wine was the cherry topping on a wonderful meal in Malaga. I should mention that we ordered the half plates and we did not leave hungry. The service was fast and the servers friendly. Highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a delicious yet budget friendly meal. Won't break the bank and you will leave sated and happy!
