One of the things that has been hard for me when visiting most salons- I have moderate hearing loss and the stylists have always been super chatty and ask tons of open ended questions. I usually can't understand 70% of what they say after Ive removed my hearing devices. That always takes makes me feel embarrassed when I keep asking them to repeat themselves or answer something they didnt ask. After showing my stylist my desired cut, she saw me remove my hearing aids. She did not make me feel pressured to make small talk. The head massage she gave me while shampooing my hair was wonderful and relaxing. She was gentle with my hair and took great care with cutting the layers. The front door was propped open and there was a nice breeze coming in. She made me feel happy, relaxed and at ease. I have never had such a quiet and relaxing salon experience. I look forward to visiting her again when I need my hair cut in the future.

Like I said in the email, if a customer asks you for a hair color you should be aiming to deliver that. If a customers hair is too damaged according to you, you can't just decide to do your own color without telling the customer. I'm not sure why you are claiming this was discussed during my consultation with Jade, you were not even present during that time. Again she showed me blonde hair and if she was honest with the color SHE (not me) decided looked best she should have showed me photos of the dark brown hair she was planning. I would have said no and left the salon. If you see her phone history for December 31, 2025 at 4:20pm you will see for yourself what I was shown, and it is nowhere near what she did to my hair. I get my hair cut pretty infrequently as well. So I came to Anne for a total refresh - cut and full dimensional color - which made the "new guest mega sesh" the perfect option. I've been letting my hair grow out for quite some time without dyeing it so that my hair could be healthy and clean before highlighting it again. Anne begins by having guests fill out an online consultation form before coming in to provide information about what they're looking for. Then, when I came in for my appointment today, Anne made me feel so comfortable in sharing what I wanted, asking questions, and also by giving her professional knowledge and opinion. She was knowledgeable about how to cut, style, and color curly hair and not once complained that my hair is "too thick" or "too long" or "too curly." She helped me figure out what kind of look to go for with my balayage, what colors would look best, and helping me pick a low maintenance option. Anne's studio looks great and she also has a little TV, snacks, and beverages. That being said, although the TV was on, I barely ended up watching it because Anne was so fun to talk to!
