He was clearly passionate about the project and he made us feel very comfortable from the beginning to the end of the process, which was a little over a week including the estimate and scheduling three days for prep work, painting and clean up. We met him on the final day of the project and he walked us through our apartment pointing out all the details, it looked great. He even pointed out a non painting related item he noticed and recommended that we should address to keep the apartment free of potential future damage, further indicating to us that he truly cares about helping his customers make their homes beautiful and keeping them safe. Do not be deceived by Will's insistence that he is extremely detail oriented. He does not follow through on half of what you discuss. More importantly, he does not keep his word. He recommended and integrated an unaffiliated flooring company that completely botched their job and literally left bubbles on our floor. After assuring me he was on our side and would help pursue a refund, he went completely dark, just like the flooring company. He also was a no show on his follow up "touch up day" and went radio silent thereafter. I needed help deciding between a few Ben Moore color choices, one of which they specifically recommended themselves, which made it easier. They were both friendly and seemed to take the task with patience, which I appreciated. I didn't want to put too much work into it, because the room set up is pretty established and I just wanted a refresh, but obviously still wanted everything to look good! I'm glad I found these guys because that's exactly what I got. The process was really easy from start to finish - I filled out an online contact form on their site and got a call to get the ball rolling the next day. An estimator came to give me quote and went through the process - what color I should buy/was recommended and how much I should buy based on how many layers he thought I'd need. Since it was just two rooms, they said it could all be done in a day! We scheduled the painting for a few days later based on my schedule. They did a great job of not getting paint on ANYTHING and I didn't pay until everything was totally done. I paid via credit card but understood that they accept payment with Venmo and PayPall too which is awesome. Overall would highly recommend - painless process and great results!

It's like people bring the dust and leave it everywhere. And since it teach and a lot of students go through the the space I often need the service. Unfortunately there are also a lot of shady painters that don't do the job well, which annoys me so much ( it would any person with OCD). So I'm super pleased that I called these guys. I have had Dave, the owner of Perfect Painting, paint the exterior of my house on two occasions…read more(the fact I brought him back for a second paint job says a ton). I believe he did a professional, quality job both times at a fair price. The first paint job looked good for years and lasted well over 10 years (all you can reasonably expect). With the first painting, we had just completed an addition, so the job required painting both a new, fresh surface, as well as an 80 year old structure. Both times the crew prepared the house well. They sanded huge sections of the house, removing all the chipping as well as other faults of the old paint job.They were neat and environmentally conscience, using vacums with hoses attached to the sanders, working behind plastic sheeting and on top of drop clothes to contain the paint chips. The paint job itself was very professional. Dave also stands behind his work. I had some minor chipping that I thought was premature a few years after the second paint job. I called Dave and explained the problem. He came by and looked at the house. He stood behind his work and offered to touch up the area, simply asking that I be flexible with the timing (totally reasonable in my opinion - I offered he simply do it when he had a window of time). When the time came to do the touch up, he took a chip of paint off the house, went to the paint store to match the paint chip (we had the original color code/name, but Dave was cognizant of the fact that paint fades as it ages and is exposed to the elements - so the job required a slightly different tone to the color which the sample afforded him the opportunity to custom mix a paint to match the faded color) and then sent his crew over to prep and apply a fresh paint job to the area. The touched up area blended in very nicely with the existing paint job, so one could not tell the difference by color. This review comes from a guy that painted for a business in high school and college, after having been taught by my Dad how to do it right. I had many repeat customers due to the quality of my work. I also have run my own businesses over the years. Therefore, I think I have a fairly good idea of what to expect from both a business owner and a professional painter: I am happy to say that Dave delivered professionalism on both counts.

I was able to schedule the paint appointment pretty quickly. They finished the job in 2 days! Unfortunately, a wall anchor was damaged and the paint on some of the doors ended up sticking. The trouble began a couple of weeks after completing our apartment. In order to paint our walls, they had to remove and then reinstall some curtains. After the painters left, one of the curtains dropped out of the wall (picture 1'. When I requested they come back and fix the problem, Paintzen refused, claiming "the wall can't support the anchor" and to repair it would "go beyond your project's scope of work". On the contrary, the wall supported the curtains for 11 years until Paintzen came. The picture below shows screws without any anchors (picture 2). Surely, if they valued my business and their reputation, they would figure out a way to restore our wall to their prior condition. I escalated my complaints with the company but have yet to hear anything from them. I am reviewing my other options should they continue to ignore me. Bottom line: Paintzen may be fine for a simple and fast project like a bathroom. Do not trust them with a large project that could prove to have complexities. They may leave you (not) hanging.
