Front desk staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I've had three ultrasounds there and every time I have excellent service. Even my CT scan went well. The appointment side is just as great. They have friendly staff and the wait has reduced since the Old River location opened. Parking at the Sillect location can be a bit congested, but seems better with the other location now open. The actual Heart Hospital... fantastic. Nothing but excellent service from everyone I encountered. Highly recommend for your cardiology and vascular needs.

The day before my ECHO I receive a call Sunday afternoon by the doctor to verify my appointment and answer any questions I had which, was a very kind gesture. I loved that my technician walked me through the entire process she gave me a sense of peace, making it a positive experience. I was even scheduled for the ultrasound at 8:30 AM and the results at 9:15 AM on the same day so I didn't have to wait long for my results or have to return another day. On the day of the appointment, we waited well over an hour to be called in, then waited for the doctor another good while after the diagnosis and vitals were done. Once he came in, he checked the diagnostics results, the hospital records, and told us she needed to go to an "electrphysiologist", that there were many in town, that there would be no charge for the visit. After 2- 2.5 hrs, we left with no referral and, turns out, not even ax récord we'd been there. So we had to go back to PCP and request a referral, and now she has an appointment with another cardiologist in March. My aunt ended up in the hospital again for the same thing. I really resent the fact that he did not bother to save her a little time with a referral.

Dr. Puga did more than his due diligence in blood work and other tests, and also listened to me and added extra tests to get a diagnosis for a recurring issue I've been dealing with for years (PVCs - Premature Ventricular Contractions). The tests for this were inconclusive but he still has a treatment for me, whereas other doctors have blown me off. Dr. Puga is polite. He listens and asks questions that make sense. His office is nice as his staff are good at communicating. Possibly the only negative might be is that it took quite awhile to get an appointment but that may have been due to everything being slow restarting from the pandemic. In any case, I find him to be the doctor for me.

I told the doctor I had a kidney stone and in addition to that my foot was also swollen to the point where I couldn't even walk on it. The doctor takes a look at my foot and says Yep it's swollen. And the conversation ended there regarding my foot. Anyone that's had a kidney stone knows that it is very painful in addition to the pain from barely being able to put weight on my foot. You would think that the doctor would offer some kind of pain relief. Instead, he let me sit there for six hours, suffering and pain when he easily could've given me something to help ease the Pain. To top it off while I was there, I hear him talking to the lady across from me that fell and hurt her harm, and he begins to listing off numerous pain medications. He can give her to help her ease the pain. I was just in disbelief But the worst thing about this encounter is I was discharged and I'm still at home. I can't walk and I have no idea what's wrong with my foot. The doctor didn't email address it. Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid this doctor at all costs.
