A companies policy can be seen as a man's word. Not to mention when I called I spoke to one of the owners, Christoper Plott, he cursed me out for even bringing my issue up to him. Instead of taking about the issue or meeting somewhere in the middle it seemed to just irritate him. Here is the issue: Last Friday I purchased two alligator hides off their website. They were both marked down to $0 as long as shipping was paid. As this company has been in the business for decades, which may be the reason the gentlemen felt he had the right to speak to me the way he did, I felt they knew what they were doing. It even states on their site: "All of the items in our online store are stocked leather, and those items are generally tannery production overruns or leftover leather from luxury brand purchases or bulk orders from manufacturers" "Please note that all sales in our online store are FINAL" They also sell scrap pieces as well for a ridiculously low price so this seemed like it was normal for them. Well today being Monday and open for business I received an email that it was a huge mistake on them and that my order would be canceled and shipping refunded in 7-10 business days. I emailed them back with my issue, but when I didn't get an email back, I called. This is when the man had such an attitude to tell me off like I was the one at fault. I knew immediately then I would not be doing further business with them. I planned on sending them 3 of my hides from last year, as why I was on their site in the first place. Moral of the story is they don't honor their own policy, let alone work with you on your order. I'd of been happy to pay a discounted price for the hides as I already paid and secured them. Shipping label was made and was already in the communication with a leather saddler with plans for them. Feel free to take the gamble though if you are willing to give up your funds or priceless hides to them.
