They picked up my laptop from my house, Garrett performed a heroic deep clean, and--miracle of miracles--the motherboard survived! Only the keyboard needed replacing and they put in the order for me. Meanwhile, Garrett returned the laptop personally so I could keep working with an external keyboard and reassured me that my laptop was going to be as good as new once the new keyboard was installed. When it arrived, I got a call and they worked around my schedule, picked it up on a Saturday morning, and delivered it fully repaired that same afternoon--ahead of schedule. Professional, friendly, patient, and downright magical--Garrett and Leslie are the tech superheroes you hope to find when disaster strikes. Then for ___ we can try to transfer your hard drive data, but it sounds like you'll probably lose everything. Then for ___ we'll replace your OS, which means you'll have to re-install all your programs as well as any lost files. Did we say you'll lose everything? Oh, and it'll be 3-5 days." I called Greg at Comtek and we arranged to meet so I could give him my hard drive. He called THAT SAME EVENING with the good news that he was able to repair the hard drive issues and link me back up with Google Drive. He even copied the file I needed onto a disk.
