Much appreciated! 2026 update - our heat pump stopped working and needed replacement parts. I paid for them to send a tech to diagnose it and they followed through with the work which is under the 10-year warranty. Tech, Hagen was very nice and professional and made sure to answer all of my questions. Kudos to the office staff, Brittny, Erin and everyone who took my calls while I was eagerly waiting for parts & repair. They treated me very kindly and proactively communicated each step of the way. I hope that this fix lasts a long time, or at least until we upgrade to a newer, more environmentally friendly unit.

I explained my lack of any communication from Seahurst regarding this project. Qmerit tried contacting Seahurst and they heard nothing back from them after three days. Qmerit assigned me new contractor due to Seahurst not responding to the status of this project. The new contractor gave me a quote for my installation in one day. Seahurst's lack of communication or follow up to calls and emails lasted over a month.

Switch comes recommended by COSTCO and so I called them. Their guy came and determined our home's layout would make installation of a "permanent" natural gas-powered generator, such as a Generac, impossible and a backup battery seemed cost-prohibitive. And so, I worked with them to decide on purchasing my own portable "tri-fuel" generator from COSTCO. And then Switch Electric came and, in one day, installed the appropriate connections to our natural gas line and electrical breaker box. He stayed until the generator was set up, connected, and the whole system tested. I'm MOST happy with having selected this company and MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

They came to our house to diagnose a minor problem with a breaker. They explained clearly that…read morethere was a $69 charge for coming to the house and take a look at the problem. After looking at the problem, the technician said that he could fix the problem and do a general diagnosis of our electrical system for a $500+ fee. Given that he was already in our house and we had several other bids that we turned down, we agreed to this ridiculous fee. The work was done well (probably took 15 minutes); he then suggested that a number of our plugs in the house should be replaced and gave us a bid to do this work for $13K. I will not be using this company ever again. My suggestion: if you use this company, get the pricing up front and be prepared for outrageous fees....even by electricians' standards.
