She refused to give me a straight answer at first, but when she finally did, she said yes, she was vaccinated. As a result, neither I nor she wore our masks. However, she lied!! How do I know she lied? Because the owner later called me to CANCEL my second appointment, saying the stylist felt UNCOMFORTABLE! Obviously, that stylist lied about her status. How completely reckless and uncaring. The new CDC laws require vaccinations of people who are up close and personal such as at this business. If they get their clients sick, which is only a matter of time, they surely won't have a business. The owner should be ashamed of her behavior.

My friend also convinced me to get my makeup done for the wedding. As a disclaimer, I hate makeup and it hates me. I always feel like a dirty cat when wearing makeup and it just seems to weigh down my face. I decided to go with Stella for two reasons. #1 - Their website showed that they have a professionally trained person, Kristen Gilmore, dedicated to their spray tanning service. And #2 - when I called and spoke with Kristen, she was able to easily answer all of my questions and was familiar with how to work with my freckles and skin tone.
