I have been going to Christopher's Salon for many years! (Since 1990's) I had noticed the beautiful hair my co-worker had at my former employer and wanted a color boost like hers. I walked in that year, and have been going to him ever since, even when I moved 2 hours drive away I continued to go to Christopher's! In my personal opinion, he is as talented a stylist as he is colorist! Christopher has remained current on good for scalp coloring and I am delighted with my color! As I age my scalp has become quite a bit more dry, and he recommended a new shampoo which is lovely with regard to the scent and how it works! Finally, I love my long hair, and I always love my style because Christopher's "under cut" is precision and his technique to matching the length side to side and back is awesome! Finally, you couldn't find a more empathetic soul on the planet! I suffered a Hemorrhagic Stroke in 2013, and it was 2 months before I could come in again! I had 4 inches of gray that needed color and he did a lovely job and I looked fabulous for Easter Church Service, my first time back since 12/15/13! Christopher CARES about how you look and feel, and he will always give you his honest opinion when choosing color options and style changes! After many years of very disappointing hair stylists. From my last few hair colors being a disaster and honestly the cuts were worse than the color. I asked a few friends who they go to, I was told by multiple people to reach out to Christopher at Christopher's Salon. I called Christopher and left a voicemail explaining my problem hair. Christopher returned my call, told me to just swing in so he could take a look at my hair, and when I did, he told me not to worry, he could help. He scheduled me for the next Friday evening and canceled his personal plans to fit me in. I told him I could wait, I honestly had waited weeks at this point. Christopher's Salon offers amazing service at an incredible price. While Christopher was cutting my hair, he was very open, honest, and offered his professional opinion of what'll look good and how my hair will turn out. I have very long hair, and while I usually am fine with losing a ton of length during haircuts, I know some people are not. If that is your concern, then come to Christopher! He cleaned my hair up really nicely, and I can barely even tell that he cut off any length at all! It is very clear that he has a lot of experience and knowledge, and for that reason I found it easy to trust him and let him take the reins. He offered advice on how to best care for my hair after the haircut and address my concerns about my texture. ANY questions you may have, he will answer without hesitation. The atmosphere of the salon is unlike other salons. Comfy couches in the waiting room, many cozy decorations and a coffee/tea bar. There are adorable pictures of dogs all around- a testament to Christopher's love of animals, which he will tell you about as he casually gives you the best haircut of your life! Today's appointment at Christopher's Salon was pure joy! My last haircut was in February 2020, and my usual style fell out of shape and lengthened by at least a foot. My stylist of over 30 years retired during Covid, and I knew I was going to move to NH in 2021, so I just let it go. Finding Christopher on the first try was a Godsend. His shop was easy to find and park. His shop was clean and homey. Lots of pictures and comfy furniture in the waiting room made me feel relaxed. He offered me a cup of coffee, and then we got down to business. Being my first visit, he had to explore my hair and listen to what I wanted. He took everything I said into consideration and worked wonders. All the while, we had a great conversation and learned a bit about each other. I walked out feeling beautiful and energized. Having moved up here full time a year ago I was having a hard time finding a good hair salon. Christopher's was recommended to me and I made an appointment. Christopher is the consummate professional. I was impressed with the fact that he really listened to what I wanted for the color. My first time with this salon and I could not be more pleased. My hair has always been very flat and simple to manage. I never have gone into a lot of maintenance. I am That ponytail wearing kind of gal. I wanted a little bit of personality brought to my hair so I endeavored to get a perm with Christopher. I could not have been more pleasantly impressed with the outcome. Not only was the atmosphere very inviting and cozy... Christopher made the experience feel like visiting an old friend; but my hair felt soft, full, and still healthy even after. where do I start? first I have not been to a salon in quite a few years, as every place I tried, cut my hair wrong, dyed my hair horrid. I Really! enjoyed my first visit to Christopher's. After a quick and pleasant response to my inquiry, Christopher booked an appointment for me with Simone. Well, she is extraordinary. After being very meticulous styling /cutting, coloring, and washing, I was very pleased with the hair style i left with. SImone matched my color to a T, styled my hair to match the shape of my face, and I was very comfortable speaking with her and Christopher. I moved up here in the Lakes Region over a year ago. It is difficult to find someone who really knows how to cut curly hair. Christopher knew the dos and don't of cutting such type hair.
