I heard a leaking hiss, and found a pinhole leak, from one of the main water lines so I turned the water supply off and did a temporary patch to the leak. I had worked on the system before, but it was at it's end of life, and needed to be replaced. I called Plumbing Place, it was already late afternoon, and the receptionist said she would call their master plumber, and would give him the details, and to expect arrival time between 7-7:30 the next morning. The Tech was prompt, and was friendly. He checked over the system, and told me all that needed to be done, and gave me an estimate. I had agreed, and he went to get the the necessary parts, and returned. He removed the old system, and installed the new one. He also did some pipe replacement, and repairs. He was very skilled and efficient, and the new water softener system looked great! The job was completed in just a few hours, I was very pleased with the work he had done, I would contact this company again with any future repairs! I would highly recommend Plumbing Place, as a very reliable company to do business with!

My water heater started to leak so I researched local service and found TK had the best reviews for…read moreservice and price. So I called five minutes after they opened Monday. That's the first thing I noticed. Usually after a weekend I expect a voicemail. They were busy. The first thing they asked was if I had hot water. I did, it was a small leak. I answered all the important questions, They arranged schedule to get to us around 11AM- next day. they expected to have a job finished by then and made sure I understood 11 was a "hopefully." The first technician did show up around 12:30 and started to drain the heater. The second had to get some lunch and he showed up not to long after. Fortunately, I had an easy access door to basement (Bilco and stairs). They cut up the new box from the new heater and made a cardboard walk to protect the carpet. They fixed the crappy fittings I put in when I did the last one, made it right and were done less than two hours. They cleaned up everything and I have hot water. I haven't got the bill yet but they think between $1,500 and $2,000, which is what I expected from researching. They told me how to work the controls. I see the documents on the side. Of course, they didn't mention changing the anode periodically which will let the heater last longer, but I mentioned it. The manufacturer buries that info also. I wish I had before and after pictures. It's a nice install. I'll look for leaks and let you know. Very nice techs, respectful, friendly. Great guys. Bill will come in the mail. I'll let you know. The last heater I bought was $800 and it took me 5-hours to install and three trips to the hardware store.
