And each of those instances, I found my way back to Sarah. She's not only professional, she's knowledgeable, she's extremely patient, she's a great listener, and she really knows her craft. Her location is super convenient with so many options of restaurants and shops in the area, and I love the fact that when you make an appointment, you are truly her one, and only client from the start to the end. If you are in need of someone who knows their craft extremely well when it comes to cuts, color, extensions, and just general healthy hair care, then Sarah is your girl.

I recently visited this salon for a root touch-up, and my experience was disappointing. The water…read morefor washing my hair was ice-cold due to a problem with their heating system. My stylist tried her best to use boiled water, but she still had to use cold water to rinse out the shampoo and finish the service, which made me very uncomfortable. What was even more disheartening was the owner's complete lack of concern. She didn't acknowledge the issue or apologize for the inconvenience, making me feel undervalued as a customer. I appreciate my stylist's efforts, but the overall lack of customer service from the owner was unacceptable. I do not recommend this salon to anyone, especially with that owner in charge. I too find it very strange that they don't have mirrors in front of each stylist... in fact instead of individual workstations it's set up more like a bar. So, the day I went in for my service, the place was pretty empty. They got me in & out fairly quickly which is good because I had a meeting to go to afterwards. I told the stylist that I wanted loose beachy curls and she did pretty much what I wanted. However, I was disappointed that it did not last beyond a day after the service. When I have gotten blow-outs at other shops, my hair usually stays fabulous for 3-4 days afterwards. So, for me the price was not worth looking good for just 2 days. I am not sure if I will go back next time I am looking for a shampoo & style.

I showed up to my appointment looking a hot mess and couldn't have been met with a more gracious stylist. We did a trichology/scalp consult, she treated my scalp and then did a cute wash and go. She was very friendly and informative without being overbearing and pushy from start to finish but most importantly it felt like my scalp could finally breathe. It was near my house and had next day availability, so I took a chance and, gah, I'm glad I did. I saw Jana. She cut my bangs exactly how I wanted them and dusted off my ends. The price was insanely reasonable. In hindsight I wish I'd tipped a little heavier because this is the least expensive hair cut I've ever gotten in Charlotte (lived here 18 years). And it is a GREAT cut! Jana was super nice, easy to talk to, LISTENED to me when I said "yes" or "no" to her questions about my cut. All in all very happy with the experience. The salon itself is very cozy. Unpretentious comes to my mind. It was clean, functional, and cute but didn't feel like it was trying too hard. Parking threw me a bit: I couldn't tell if they have their own parking spots in the two surrounding lots. There were signs about permits, which I didn't have. I ended up parking on the street that ran perpendicular to 10th. Not a big deal but mentioning in case it helps others plan. Booking was a breeze, I made the appt. online without any issues. Definitely look into this spot! I'm happy I took a chance.

I've been wanting lighter brown hair for a long time now to warm up my fair skin tone - something that my previous stylists have not been able to really achieve.
