I was greeted warmly by the hostess and the manager as soon as I walked in, which immediately made me feel welcome. Since it was a bit cool outside, I chose to sit in the dining room. Even though she had already started the closing tasks in the dining room, she still provided outstanding service. She was attentive, polite, professional and efficient. She took my order right away and kept the soda refills coming without me ever having to ask. Sydney's service really made the difference and it complemented my delicious meal. In an era where many restaurants feel inattentive or simply not invested in the guest experience, Basil Pizza and Wine delivered a memorable evening.
