So the associate pushed through a new application to see if I could get an additional discount (which didn't make any sense, since I was mostly getting a gift card.) Today I received a letter from Kohl's credit division telling me I was denied the card because of "Excessive obligations in relation to income." Here is the rub, credit score is 881 with no obligations whatsoever. End of story - I will NEVER GO to KOHL'S AGAIN!

The biggest negative to this company is that they wait to send your rental within a few days of your event. So when they make a mistake, there is ZERO time for them to correct it, so if the seamstress cant make a size 38 pant fit a size 44 waist (even though the waist hadn't changed since the measurements were taken) you are just S.O.L. Quite ridiculous. Their response: Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. There was a 50% off metal sign that got knocked down from selecting clothes and this oldish guy turns the corner and yells "LEAVE NOW" I swear he looked like a evil villain in a Disney movie. (His hair looked like Ursula from the little mermaid) Ursula then goes to still scream "I DONT CARE LEAVE NOW" when it's obvious we were shopping around and didn't do anything, mind you, we are all 18-19 years old. Not doing anything bad as-well. He just had horrible attitude towards us and was an absolute POS. horrible customer service. The lady that checked us out at the front was so kind compared to him, he even went to hide in the back when it was our turn to check out in line. Clean up your store and stop being a dick to people. The dust and crap thrown everywhere in that store is impressive.

Where in bigger cities Ross can be killer place to find gems, this Ross has had the same shoes stocked for the past month straight. Travel 90 miles north and it's like a whole different experience (and better prices as well). I can be in and out of this place in 5 minutes and most of the times empty handed.

Some of the staff are very helpful and attentive. One gentleman hosted a 10 minute sale in the store and he was the most helpful out of all the employees I spoke to the day we went shopping here. The price of shoes is more than reasonable and so far the quality is good. The only two issues I had were: 1. The bathroom (women's) doesn't have a changing table for little ones. We ended up going next door to Target. 2. Some of the staff were not as attentive as they could have been. During our visit, there were at least 10-20 people in the store and two of the employees at the checkout stands were just chitchatting as a woman was standing in front of them waiting for them to finish their conversation before trying to ask for help. If you've worked in retail then you know how to pause a convo, help customers first, then continue that conversation when able. This isn't a major issue but during a rush, it's more noticeable. This store does carry some shoes in wide sizes. Most may need to be ordered though. Other than those things, this store is helpful.
