I went into Macys. went through the perfume counters and i was testing the Prada perfume. when one of the ladies from the perfume customer service asked do you, need help. I said no, I do not get paid till Tuesday, then she said oh, ok. We, started talking then this lady named Kim, came over and I was telling the nice lady I was talking about me breaking 5 phones in a year and my daughter gave me the small phone, and the lady named Kim, came over and said Beggers can't be choosers. Then Kim, walked away. I was in shock and just left. I came back around to get her name and another lady said something about telling the manger and said oh, she was probably playing how did Kim, stated I told her that was not professional or respectful and told her I lost my job, and I already felt bad my eyes full of tears. I didn't want to break down at Macys. I came home I called the executive office at Macy's and spoke to Giselle, and she, stated she would be contacting Jennifer, which I advised her I had spoken to a manager, the manager stated Kim, was a vender. Giselle, said yes, she is a vendor for Versace. I told her that Kim was not being professional and that's no way to speak to any customer. I had lost my job playing or not. I never invited her into my conversation. I do not think that is funny. I was crying when I came home at my age 54. just because the woman named Kim, works for Versace, does not give her the right to treat customers like me or any customer like that. I hope Versace treat their customers in that manner. Every weekend I am at Macys, might not be a card member, I shop there and online. I am sorry, I am not rich or good enough to shop at Macy. 12-11-2024 Corpus Christi Texas location. Don't bother to go if you need to shop on the 3rd floor. Elevators and escalators are out. But hey you can always WALK up the steep escalator stairs. If you have bad knees/back that isn't going to happen. Also the entrance on the 3rd floor parking deck is closed. It's kinda like they don't want you shopping. read more

I went to the Macy's at PG Plaza in Hyattville, MD today. They were blaring spanish music that was too loud. The quality of the store has really gone down over the past ten years. The music was too loud and I got what I came for and hurried up and got out of there. Even though it sells designer products and perfumes, it reminds me of a five and ten cent store now. read more

Friendly staff, clean store! Merchandise disorganized. Backstage area interesting... Signage hanging from ceilings doesn't match current location of products. No maps with depts listed. Plus dept for women - signage present - looked all over. Finally nice employee told me they no long have women's Plus department! read more

I was shopping at the La Palmera location- I had brought five items up to an associate (Jeannie?) who was working at the AYS counter - she asked smiling if I needed some assistance, I remarked that I thought these two blouses where on sale on-line - that's why I came to your store.. her reply was ' we honor Macy's on- line prices'!! Although, it took some time out of day , she was kind enough to look the items up and I bought all my items because of her going out of her way to look them up .. I was so happy with my purchase, and while she was ringing me up she was engaging and told me about a shoe save that was going on as well.. Thank you .. Macy's Staff! Although , COVID is going on and has made things change , I was just really happy that one on one customer service still occurs at this store and it's why I will continue to shop here!!! I jUst got back from doing the after thanksgiving dinner shopping at Macy's and can't get over my experience. I checked out on the 2nd floor with a woman with beautiful curly hair whom I believed her tag said Melissa or Marissa and I'm upset I don't remember her name. But she was full of spunk and made my entire shopping experience fun as we chatted aboUt the ornaments I had just purchased. This was at 12:28 and I want her to have credit because i watched her through all her other transactions with other customers and she rocked! I hope this number means something, 708-0045-3768!!! The store looked nice but it smelled like droppings in A part of the store and then .I saw a rat run by at one point . I couldn't believe it!!! When I told a sales associate the apologized and said it was a problem they were doing everything they could to take care of. when I went to purchase an Item from the shiesedo counter the sales lady Janet was extremely rude and even snickered to the other girl there as I walked away. I have never had such horrible customer service from some one in my life. She seemed to try to force products on me I didn't want. I am now a loyal Dillard's customer . read more

Boo for the makeup department that doesn't return calls and isn't willing to book a makeup session. Apparently Saturday's there aren't enough people working to book makeup sessions for special events. They didn't even try to accommodate by asking what time or anything like that. So glad I don't live there and won't shop there when visiting ever again! read more

I needed a suitcase for a vacation and they had a decent selection. The one I wanted was like $300 but soon as I brought it to the front and to ask her if it was on sale, she got it down to $99! I was so amazed at how a name brand nice suitcase got on sale for so cheap. I was impressed with Macy's and the staff was super nice and helped me super fast, I am an IN AND OUT shopper. They also have a lot of bed linens and sheets on sale at the moment, so if your looking stop in and check them out. read more

There is something about this Macy's that makes it feel like a cheap, discount store. It's hard to put in words, but it definitely doesn't feel like the more upscale-type of store I've experienced at other Macy's. read more

Went to Macy's for a sale that had been advertised for the weekend beginning on Friday. The lady working in the bra's department was very rude, unhelpful, & the personality of a wet noodle. The people working in the purses & wallets department when I found what turned to be one of thiers wallet & personal information with thank you or kiss my ass!!! read more

Hands down the most disorganized store I've been to in my life. Not just the most disorganized Macy's. The most disorganized store period. Beyond that, I've had employees tell me they'll ring me up when they've got time & gone right back to discussing their personal soap operas. One of the girls in the lingerie department may be pregnant and has no clue who the father is. So yay. I get to know that now. I went back bc Macy's was running bonus days with Clinique, no one working the Clinique counter & the girl at another cosmetics counter seemed a little surprised that I would ask if someone WAS working the Clinique counter. I mean, I can't imagine why a cosmetics counter would be staffed at all, especially when there was a promo going on. I left, went to Ulta, got my moisturizer there & didn't give a shhh about the gift. I spend more time walking right back OUT of Macy's than I actually do shopping there. Get it together or give up entirely. The store is a giant pothole. read more

I was shopping this afternoon and stopped by Macy's. I stopped to look at earrings since I recently discovered Betsy Johnson. I went to the display and was immediately approached by a female employee who asked if I needed help. I said no, that I was just looking. instead of walking away, the employee leaned on the counter and stood there for a number of minutes just watching me select earrings. I refused to let that bother me and continued to mind my own business. There were other customers around me, so the employee walked away and I thought she had gone to help other people or at least watch someone else. Not a minute later she is behind the counter and asked again if she could help, while checking the displays I had been looking at. Annoyed, I replied "No, I'm STILL looking." She answered "oh, you're still looking" sarcastically before walking away. A minute must have gone by when another female employee approached me and asked me if I needed help even though I was clearly looking at earrings. I am disgusted with this treatment. If I am stereotyped because I was wearing a cartoon t-shirt and jeans, what kind of treatment do other customers receive based on the color of their skin, or the language these employees hear, or the appearance of their clothes? I went to the third floor immediately to speak to a manager. The young man I spoke with was so harried by his walkie-talkie I'm not sure he listened to half a word I said to him. He said that if I wanted, he could "take down their names" (of the employees). I'm not sure what he meant by this, but it hardly sounded like a solution for the problem I had. The least I deserved was an apology. I had to tell him to take down my information to contact me about this issue, but otherwise he did not seem to think of it as important. I decided to make a complaint with the head quarters and to get the employee's name. I went to the jewelry counter and she was not wearing a nametag so I asked for her name. She said "why? what for?" I told her it was because she was stereotyping and harassing me. She walked away, opened a few drawers, wiped her mouth with a napkin and then said "Stella." I am not sure whether this is her name or not since she did not want to give me her name and when she did she was very short-tempered. Less than two weeks ago I was there buying a birthday present and was treated very well by all employees, including the manager I spoke with today (who had started to ring me up before the lady who usually is there came and finished the transaction). Today I was underdressed, so I guess that means that not only am I insignificant as a customer, but a possible thief. The attitude of this female employee is unacceptable. What person can shop in peace if they are repeatedly asked to be helped, and followed, and watched while there are other customers who are completely ignored? What person can feel comfortable after being harassed and know the manager doesn't care and the employee acts as if SHE has been the victim of some great injustice? Is it too much to apologize if only to try and appease an angry customer? I am beyond disappointed at being so poorly treated. I will never shop at the Corpus Christi branch again. read more

First time going to Macys in la palmera mall...as I walk in I hear that they are playing Spanish music...loud... which to be honest I didn't mind but for a department store, I know that the music is too specific for general crowd...and being played loudly at that. Not so professional. Walked around 1st floor like a deer in headlights trying to pick out a gift for a family member...couldn't seem to find anyone to help....gave up and went up to the home department...and my saving grace, Robert (a macys employee) found me. There were only 2 employees for the whole department and being that it wasn't too busy at the moment, he helped me go through every thread count sheet until we found the perfect one! I then went on to pick out a massager chair and before I purchased it, Robert noticed a return sticker on it so he offered to inspect it, went as far as plugging it in and we found out the heat function wasn't working. Geez Louise he saved me from an embarrassment on Christmas Day! Unfortunately it was the last one so I didn't purchase it even though he offered the option of having shipped to the house. Also, macys home department has killer deals before Christmas...the chair for example was $139 at macys...$200 at other stores. Got a ton of presents that day....I hope Robert is recognized for his excellent customer service!!! read more

My husband and I went to the shoe department to find myself a pair of boots. I understand the area is open, but with 3 employees working and only a few customers there isn't really an excuse to look past us. I waited up front with a boot in my hand to see if they had my size and one of the employees just looked at me and continued tagging. They helped all the other customers before me, AND to top it off that there was a good while where we were the only customers there and the three employees clearly ignored us. They stayed in a group of 3 talking. Finally my husband got one of the lady's to help us and she was rude and not helpful at all. I understand we are heavily tattooed, my hair is a little unordinary and my husband was in dirty work close by my money is just as good as the other customers. I have NEVER been treated this way nor have I been so upset to right a review. Macy's will never have my business again. read more
