Hired the carpenter to install new front doors that came with a jamb. Paid top dollar ($1200.) only…read moreto have multiple areas of damage to our brand new doors (see attached photos). The doors are fiberglass and the manufacturing company told me it would take a major blow to crack and indent the exterior surface of this door. When I pointed out the damages to the jamb to the carpenter, I was told "it came that way." They did not come that way. It took 2 days for 2 supposedly experienced carpenters to install doors that they had to remove after fully installed to correct problems that kept the doors from shutting. They were almost almost an hour late each day. They took 3 to 4 cigarette breaks per hour. They were not prepared with basics such as screws of various lengths, tools needed to plane a warped area in the opening for the door, spray foam to seal gaps in spaces, etc. I reached out to the carpenter and he flatly denied any damage occurred due to their installation and work with our doors. No willingness to assume any responsibility for their substandard work. Use caution if you hire this company. We have to buy another door to replace the damaged one.
