During the sales process, the sales representative specifically told me that our furniture would be moved directly from Texas to North Carolina and would not be stored. He also represented that Freeway works with trusted, reliable moving companies and consistently works with the same companies. Those representations were a major reason I chose Freeway. Unfortunately, our experience was very different. The truck that arrived to pick up our furniture was not large enough to accommodate everything. Freeway attempted to find a larger truck that same day but was unable to do so. Our belongings were ultimately transferred between different moving companies and stored, rather than being moved directly from Texas to North Carolina as we were told. The moving crews we ultimately dealt with also did not match the professional, trusted experience that was represented during the sales process. The movers did not appear to be professional moving crews, and I was particularly concerned with how the labor was sourced and handled. Communication and customer service throughout the process were extremely disappointing. What we were told when we hired Freeway and what actually happened were two very different experiences. I'm sharing this review so others researching Freeway can make an informed decision. Before hiring them, I strongly recommend getting in writing exactly who will be moving your belongings, whether your shipment can be transferred or stored, and who will actually be providing the labor. Based on our experience, I strongly suggest working with a different company.

They know the latest technology, they have the latest music and collections of songs and they are all musicians themselves, so they are great to talk to about issues you have as a performer. They have memberships to internet music sites, so they can download and print off a song immediately, if you're in a hurry. They also rent school district instruments and repair instruments. Norm and his staff are so helpful, my grandma goes there when the tuning pegs on her violin get stuck. And they don't charge her a penny for un-sticking them and tuning the violin. The staff volunteer throughout the community, they play with the Powder River Symphony, they sing with the Gillette Chamber Singers and they offer private lessons in the store. And they always welcome you to come in and drool over their instruments and music. I always feel at home here. There store is a little small, but they can get whatever you need from one of the Rapid City stores in just a couple days, or from one of their dealers in about a week. They hand-delivered my violin to the repair guy at the Rapid store, and charged me $40 to have a 4 inch crack in the front of it repaired. The $40 included the labor, materials and delivery fees. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is! If you ever need anything, even a bottle of valve oil, these guys have it and they can tell you everything you ever wanted to know (and more!) about whatever you're looking for!
