While browsing, a nice gentleman asked me if I needed help. That was very refreshing and welcome. They carry non alcoholic beers as well as regular beers. Prices are a bit higher than some of the other larger warehouse type liquor stores, but they are convenient to the customers on the East side of Providence.

She came out with a case and took bottles out to make a 6 pack for me. I thought that was generous until I got home and saw that the beer expired. I went back to the store and the person there said he had no authority to take the beer back and I would have to talk to manager. I didn't want to waste my time going back and forth so I threw it out. The store is nicely renovated, maybe they need the money to pay for renovations and that's why they are selling old beer. What else has expired? Be careful and check expiration dates before you leave the store.

Typically there are various cases (24 cans) for $13.99 and 12 packs for $6.99. We stopped in this week and the deals were so good we ended up stocking up for the whole summer. The gentlemen that work the counter are also great and always willing to help you out to the car if you find your hands are full.

All of these are new to me except the After Midnight which is for hubby. I got two different sparkling, a rosé & four different whites. All this fabulousness for $51.96 (3 bottles for $12.99). Because I am a math dork, I looked up the average price of the bottles - if I purchased at a regular liquor store, this box of 12 would have cost between $170-$200. WOOT WOOT!

I'll go here in a pinch, as it's merely a block away from our abode and sometimes the closeness factor wins out over the cheapness factor. Like I said, dude running the shop is nice enough, and I do like supporting a local biz (who doesn't?). The small shop is chock-full of wines from all types of regions, and as I mentioned has a decent beer selection. It's not nearly as vast or impressive as, say, Bottles, but it gets the job done. S, three stars it is - you'll walk out with a decent beverage, but it'll cost you!

Although I love, love, love grabbing beer here because they have so many of my favourites (Rogue, you get me every time!), the wine selection is lacking. As for whiskey and scotch, these sections could use a little lovin', too. You can never have enough scotch. The owner is a really friendly guy, and did answer the phone when I called him one night asking if they sold limes (yes, they do), so I still enjoy coming in from time to time to pick out a bottle or two, as much as that price sticker kills me.
