I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because my service was good by one of their employees the…read moreother not so much. I had first called them to see if they had this certain ale in stock. Jordan answered the phone and was very pleasant to speak with. He even asked me if I would mind if it wasn't in a cooler to which I replied that was fine as long as they could hold it for me I was on my way. I headed over to the store I get inside an see an older woman working the front register (I didn't get her name) she could've been an owner or manager but she was just very dry and somewhat rude. I greeted her and told her I had called and the young man I spoke with said they were going to hold the product for me. She then tells me oh you spoke to Jordan he's in the back. So I tell her what I was looking for and she tells me it's in the cooler in the back. So I had that way she then yells across the store telling me it's in this certain cooler labeled with the coors light logo. I look I don't see it I ask her which way she tells me again off that way so I look see other products from that company but not the specific flavor I was looking for which I assumed wasn't in there because the gentleman on the phone told me they were going to be warm. So I walked back up to the front to ask her yet again if she could call Jordan for me. She rolled her eyes gets on this microphone and calls Jordan and says " Jordan the lady you talked to on the phone is here to pick up the stuff she asked for" I was totally in shock by her lack of customer service. Jordan comes flying out the back and apologizes and gives me my product I thanked him as I went to cash out with her. There was a gentleman finishing his transaction and then I was next and then another person came behind me. The lady sees I'm next and says Oh, so you found what you needed and I said yes thank you she then says ID! And I said here ya go... I then went to pay for my order and didn't see the credit machine as it was laying on the counter off to the side next to many other things on the cluttered counter she then says "insert chip!" And I said I'm sorry I didn't see it... I go through the process and the receipt prints she asked if I wanted my receipt I kindly said no thank you and went to grab my things and she snapped and said "Oh no I know you're in a hurry, but you have to sign" just for the record I wasn't in a hurry and I wasn't aware I'd be signing on a small transaction plus there was a man waiting behind me. I just said "oh I'm sorry I didn't realize I would have to sign and she just came across so rude I said have a good night and left. OverAll place is well stocked a little pricy and Jordan was VERY helpful. That woman on the other hand was rude and awful! She needs to retire or find another profession... I don't know how she made it this long in customer service.

The only thing is that their selection seems to be limited ( just the basics) and the prices are a little higher then other LQ's I go to. Not bad though, the store is set up neatly and organized well.

I walked to the counter and made a few seconds of small talk, paid and left. That easy and simple. I didn't find the prices different than any other liquor store, the guy behind the counter asked if I needed help with anything. It was just a simple, easy transaction.

BIG mistake. I asked the owner if he had cases of Yuengling since I couldn't find any. He stared at me blankly for a moment before responding "So, like a 12 pack?"..... "No", I said. "A case is 24 beers." (How can you run a liquor store and not know what a case is??) He led me over to a display and said "I can just give you two 12 packs.".... "Oh, ok. So you'll give me the case price if I buy two 12's?"....He thought about it and said "Well, just take the 12 pack price and multiply it by two." Um... NO THANKS. Having wasted enough time with this ignorant person, I went to Sak's a half mile down the road and saved myself $4. The staff were way nicer and they actually knew what a case was! Wow! Go to them or Tri-Town... Avoid this place like the plague. Overpriced and horrible service.

I don't even know why I bother going anywhere else for libations. Seriously every time I come here…read moreI say that. They have EVERYTHING. An obscure cider brand from Michigan you tried once on a vacation? Not only do they have it they have a variety from that same brand. Want a wine you can only describe in flavor and maybe to e color of the label? They got someone that can hunt it down for you. Don't know how to host a tasting event? They created the PhD on the subject. It's actually not a good place if you get overwhelmed easily as the store has about 800% inventory at all times and they span from the basics to absolute top shelf temp/humidly controlled storage for basically anything you can drink. Staff is so helpful they make shopping pleasant - I went in looking for Marsala wine to make a chicken dish and after talking to a wine person there I had 3 more dish ideas and left with something completely different than Marsala wine - and it was incredible. Perfect recommendation. The most selection of liquor , the largest variety of cider and microbrews and a staggering selection of wine, again I can't see a reason to go elsewhere anymore.

As of 2026, there are additional locations in Attleboro, Norwood, and Swansea. I recently made a trip to Yankee Spirits while I was passing through the Sturbridge area. I have visited before, but this was my first visit in about six years or so. They have an absolutely enormous selection of alcoholic beverages, but I was only interested in exploring their very impressive selection of craft beer. I don't make it to this area very often, so I was most looking forward to see if they carried anything that's either hard to find or just totally unavailable in my home area of New Haven, Connecticut. I spent maybe a half hour just walking down the aisles and seeing what all of the options were. Afterwards, I was ready to begin shopping. I ended up purchasing a pretty sizable haul which should keep my refrigerator full for a while. Most of the beers I grabbed were rare barrel-aged stouts, but I also picked out a few IPAs and other various styles that no longer get distribution in my home area. If you're looking for a serious selection of excellent craft beer, wine, or spirts in New England then look no further than Yankee Spirits!
