A prosciutto, fresh mozzarella with roasted peppers sub should be a bit sloppy but only if the contents are sufficient. The prosciutto was good, the bread was good but the fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers were sparse. The cheese wasn't even a full slice? The roasted peppers were small sliced pieces scattered on the sandwich. My photo is of my second half. When I asked for napkins expecting my sandwich to be a bit messy I was told in my bag. So I am unbagging my purchase and there is one napkin, just one. I unwrapped my sandwich with high expectations of being just what I was craving- bam! Disappointed at the least, it was dry even with the olive oil on it. Opened up the second half and saw why! This is considered a gourmet Italian deli. That one napkin, if I used half of it was a lot! The price for this sandwich was $15.75. (4/14/26) Oh and the bottled Herbal Mint tea for $4.50 was tasteless hardly any mint flavor. To be fair, this is a third party's product.

Katie was easy to work and we arranged everything via email and phone. FOOD is AMAZING! Flavorful crab soup, seafood paella, short ribs and large crab cakes were part of our catered menu. Would highly recommend this company for any event large or small. We were a small party (only 10 of us) and the serve and food was excellent. Thanks Katie and the rest of the Taste Events team for making our 50th birthday memorable!

Our guests could not stop complementing about how good the food was . We started planning this event just over a year ago and worked with Katie Green, meeting on many occasions during that time as well as having a food tasting she setup for us. Katie represents this company very well...very professional, informative and so helpful, help that we needed since this was our first reception to plan. She was with us from the very beginning to the very end often going above and beyond the call of duty. She helped us not only with the food planning but with the rental needs and helped coordinate all of this with the rental company. Also, we have eaten several meals at a couple of the restaurants, mostly at Hooked Up and a lunch at Off the Hook. The service and food at these places are a great indicator of how our catering experience was, fantastic! We are in the area about once per month for the weekend and always look forward to having dinner or lunch with them. Again, Thank You Katie! and Taste Events and all of the staff that were at our event....friendly, helpful and the food was incredible! LikeShow more reactionsCommentShare

We visited Kaja Asian for dinner tonight, and it did not disappoint!…read moreLocated in the Midway Shopping Center in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, just off Route 1 beyond the Midway movie theaters, Kaja Asian first caught our attention because of its name. We only saw the word Kaja as we quickly drove by heading into town. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that it serves Asian cuisine. After looking over the menu online, we decided it would be the perfect place for our Sunday dinner. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and invited to choose our own table since the restaurant wasn't very busy. There was a lively birthday celebration taking place at the bar, but only a few other families were dining when we arrived. As I walked to our table, I couldn't help but notice another guest's meal--it looked absolutely delicious, which made me even more excited to order. Our waiter, Alberto, promptly brought us water and drink menus. Three of us ordered Asian-inspired cocktails, while one friend chose an Orange Crush, which she thoroughly enjoyed. For dinner, I ordered the Kaja Noodles. Two others chose the Cashew Chicken, and another friend ordered the Chicken Stir-Fry. We also shared an appetizer of edamame and a side of garlic string beans. Everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were outstanding, and the portions were very generous. Three of us ended up taking home leftovers because there was simply too much to finish. We can't wait to return and try more items from the menu. Alberto provided excellent service throughout our meal. He was attentive, helpful, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant's décor was another highlight. The dining room featured a beautiful Asian-inspired color palette of black, red, and gold that created an elegant atmosphere. Interestingly, the restroom had a completely different theme. It appeared that the décor from the previous restaurant may have been left intact. The walls and floor were painted shades of blue, with the floor resembling tropical water. The striking blue glass sink was beautiful, and just outside the restroom was a large shark mural. While the bathroom was attractive and well-coordinated, it didn't quite match the Asian theme of the rest of the restaurant. One detail that made us smile was the sign on the restroom door. It humorously indicated that the restroom was for everyone--including aliens--as long as you washed your hands before leaving!
