Before I found Macomb Spine Care I had been suffering with extreme migraines due to a neck injury for a year and a half. I had been to 2 chiropractors, tried nerve blocks, radio frequency ablation, botox, acupuncture, and physical therapy with no success. Dr. started by showing me a video about what quacks MDs are. Way to gain my confidence. Went on to talk about himself for quite some time. Ended by offering me a $3000 treatment package. I felt patronized and talked down to the whole time. I declined and found another chiropractor who charges me per visit - and is only $65/visit. My father has suffered terribly for many years with chronic back pain as a result of a herniated disc. He could barely walk and was in severe extreme pain constantly. He was suffering so badly. I have finally found relief and help with pain relief working with Dr. Clark and his wonderful staff. I have been to about 14 doctors in the last 20 years because I have an extremely challenging low back/sacroilliac condition. He is kind, caring and gives his patients a lot of time to determine what the issues may be then determine the treatments necessary to help heal and alleviate pain. First and foremost, Dr. Clark has my back!!! It all started with "Oh, my aching back!! Oh, my sciatic nerve pain radiating down my left leg!!" I made the very stupid mistake of not listening to my pain. I was telling my other half that I do need to get this checked out and you all know how it goes, the pain has subsided and I'm feeling better now.. One evening we happened to be driving down Hayes and seen Macomb Spine Center right off of Hayes and 18 Mile Road. I went inside to grab a business card from the reception area just to keep as a reference.. the famous "just in case I need it".. A patient was sitting in the waiting room and told me that he has been seeing Dr. Clark for quite some time and wouldn't go anywhere else. Who better to ask for a referral than a patient waiting to be seen. A few weeks later, It happened to be a Sunday and was working in my yard. I was doing the fall clean up thing, you know raking the leaves out of the flower beds, etc. I happened to turn the wrong way and a very loud "Ouch" came out of my mouth and the pain level was so extreme I couldn't hardly stand up anymore... later in the evening, I couldn't hardly walk! I called my regular doctor the following morning and they wouldn't be able to see me for at least 3 weeks even though I told them my pain was excruciating. I was accused of drug seeking behavior by the receptionist at my primary care physicians office... Nice, huh So, I pulled the "just in case I need it" business card from my wallet and made a telephone call to Macomb Spine Care on a Monday and was seen the very next day. Dr. Clark rushed an MRI / x-rays for my case and my treatment started as soon as I returned to his clinic with the pictures of my spinal injury. That was all in the same day. He was very thorough in his explanation of his diagnosis of my back and what treatment plan would work best for my particular case. She will never start a treatment without looking at the chart first. She is a valuable asset to Dr. Clark's organization. After four months of treatment, he was true to his words and I'm living a pain free life again! Oh, I forgot to mention that I did his treatment program without any kind of opiates or any kind of pain management injections.
