So far I've taken Kyle, Chris, and Kate's class and they were super fun! Can't wait to take the other classes. Currently they have an upper body, lower body, and full body class. Book a class online, either the bag or the floor. Come in, check in to class at the front on the ipad and you get an assigned locker with your name and your spot number. I personally bring my own wraps and gloves but they have some for purchase and you can borrow gloves. Make sure you bring water - they also have a water station and two bathrooms equipped with hair ties, deodorant etc. which I thought was pretty cool! Also they provide towels, make sure to grab one cause class can get hot and sweaty!!! Each class is about 45 minutes, mix of strength training/HIIT/conditioning/cardio etc. The class starts with the trainer breaking down the 6 main punches and format of the class. We do a warmup then go straight to either the bag or the floor. What I like about the class is the different rotations that go on - bag for 3 "rounds", floor/strength training for 3 rounds, back to the bag for 2, and lastly the floor for your last 2 rounds. Or if you start on the floor it's vice versa. They also have visuals in the front of the screen that help you out, which I personally like. You get some active recovery between each session too. Definitely a sweaty session but I always feel good after class. The trainers are amazing! Their energy is contagious and keep the class hyped. I always feel like I'm in a rave, but in a good way! A boxing rave! The music and lights get you in the zone. Honestly, it's a great way to let off some steam and get a good workout. Definitely recommend this place.

His performance and upbeat attitude will push you to limits you never knew you could achieve. Bella by far is a superb Assistant Manager that can juggle taking care of the books to selling, answering phones helping everyone settle in and making us all feel welcomed with her sweetness, and still finds the time to workout. Jesus signed me up and ensured me that I would not regret signing up. He was very nice and knowledgeable to help me make my decision and never will he ever pressure you to sign up. Coach Shawn is exceptional and committed to ensuring you learn how to box while keeping you motivated. Coach Moses and his positive energetic personality shines all while still maintaining a hard but fun workout. Coach Christina is the heart and passion. She starts the day off with morning classes and with her technique you will never fail. Coach Edith is tiny but mighty and I love her coaching/boxing style. Coach Gaby is the GOAT of boxing. He is tough, always in good spirit and will have you performing like a boxer for real. Reggie has an incredible attitude anytime I see him and an amazing team! They do a warmup beforehand and some quick exercises in between. So you will definitely sweat and need to stay hydrated and might get tired. They had some core exercises at the end. Kickboxing and boxing aren't really my preferred type of workout, but if I wanted to torch calories and get stronger, this would be an amazing place to do it. Not "germaphobe" friendly as the class ends with a quick core workout on the ground.

This place is the real deal. A pretty active athlete throughout high school (tennis, ran with cross…read morecountry kids, lifted heavy weights), I fell off the track after graduation and was in desperate need for something that would push and challenge me. I tried going to the gym, which worked out for a while, but I soon became bored with the constant repetition. I needed something a little more interesting. Lo and behold, I stumbled across this gym. Met the owner Jeff on an open gym day, who offered a free class before a membership, but I decided to become a member right then and there anyways. Best decision I could've possibly made. Here's a mental picture of a typical weekday evening, maybe around 7: walking into the gym, the first thing you see and hear are the punching bags. The smack of gloves against rubber, and then a timer going off every minute or so at a constant rate. Look to your right, a small class of new members doing a warm up. Look up at the boxing ring, a sparring match is taking place while the owner Jeff is on the sideline throwing in commentary for improvement. Chairs by the front might be occupied by a mom or two, watching as her little ones learn the basics of shadow boxing and how to wrap their hands for protection. All whilst rap music is blasting throughout the gym. With this scene in front of you, you won't be able to shake off this need to put in some work. Moving onto the actual classes. Not going to lie, the first few days suck. The workout with the instructor Jorge is going to kick your ass- I've been here for a little more than a month and for some classes I show up to, there's someone running to the bushes outside to puke at the very end. I've seen a military personnel practically winded- guess boot camp has nothing on here! But as the weeks pass by, you start noticing that hey... I did 10 more than the last time. This doesn't suck as much. And you start noticing how your stamina is improving, and that makes everything so incredibly worthwhile. You can thank Jorge for that, an amazing instructor who will push you beyond your boundaries, but understands that the body still has physical limits and will always want your health to come first. All around fantastic gym with great energy. I highly recommend to anyone seeking out a good workout for a very good deal, wants to relieve some stress, or plan on becoming the next Rocky. This is the place you want to be at.

    1) DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD. 2) THE OWNER THROWS…read moreTEMPER TANTRUMS OR TRYS TO INTIMIDATE HIS CUSTOMERS. 3) TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE HANDLE FUNDS AND THERE'S OFTEN MISCOMMUNICATION. My son and I joined the gym Jan 2022, I cancelled our member in March 2022 with his girlfriend because we were leaving town in May 2022 for the summer. I was not charged in April 2022, so I thought everything was OK because initial membership you pay 1st and last months dues and we stop coming in April 2022 so everything was fine. I checked my flex account in July and realized charges reinstated in May, June, and July (2022) from Katy Boxing. So when I got back to town in July 2022 I went to the gym to talk with Rodney. I let him know I was still being charged and I was definitely going to return to the gym in September when school started for my son. So he said he would make it right. I also told Rodney I had funds in my flex account that needed to be spent before August 2022 and I wanted to pay in advance for the school year 2022-2023. Rodney gave me a credit for the months I was being charged after I cancelled to correct the invalid charges for (May,June, &July 2022) and said I could use those funds for fall of 2022 Sept, Oct, & Nov when i returned to the gym. I told him I also wanted to pay in advance for (2023) Feb, Mar, & April since i needed to spend those flex accountfunds. He agreed said I he would discount May (50% off). Since i was paying so far in advance. I had $400 to spend I even bought a bag that I didn't need or get until Oct just to support his business. The bags weren't even in. We agreed I was paid up until June 1, 2023. We did not go to the gym in during the holidays Dec 2022 and Jan 2023. When we returned to the gym in September 2022 everything was fine, in January 2023 they (his girlfriend) started trying to charge my card again. I let her know I was paid up until June 1. Good thing the flex card changes every year because the transactions were declined. When March came Rodney brings me in his office to discuss my account. He said I was only paying like $25/month and I hadn't paid since July 2022. I explained to him we agreed I paid up until June 1. Unfortunately, he doesn't remember our agreement and the receipts don't explain the details of our agreement. So a couple days later I bring my computer to explain our agreement because he said he doesn't remember and he THROWS A FULL OUT TEMPER TANTRUM and says he doesn't understand the payments/receipts. He's yelling saying I only paid $25/month??? Amounts that were not correct. I reminded him we did not come to the gym April, May, June, & July 2022. I reminded him that I came on July 18 and paid $373 and paid in advance for Feb, Mar, April, & May 2023. AFTER I had already paid July 1 2022. I tried to show him the receipts. He wouldn't listen and told me to get out, my businessis no longer wanted. I reminded him in June 2022 I gave him a total of $473 and I wasn't even coming because I work abroad during the summer. I sent him the receipts in text and explained again but to no avail he conveniently didn't understand. He said membersip dues is month to month and I paid months that I did not attend. I explained to him that I would not have paid in advance if this was the case. Needless to say we will not return and I DO NOT recommend anyone to patrons his business until he gets a book keeping system that holds both parties accountable. We went to Katy Boxing one day a week (Wed), my son enjoyed the classes but if the coach is out of control and doesn't know how to handle his business with patrons, I will not return. I recommend ALL customers to pay monthly and get a detailed receipt for whatever service you pay for. DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO SAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO. I don't understand the out of control TEMPER, I never raised my voice and always treated him with respect. Extremely disappointing because my son actually enjoyed training with me once a week. I am attaching the payments so customers can see for themselves.
