Sensei Ramon Veras and his team are extremely experienced, encouraging, and treat every student with respect. TKC teaches traditional Okinawan Goju-Ryu karate which is very difficult to find. I feel fortunate that TKC and Sensei Ramon are so great at what they do and that they are so close to where I live. I trained in a different martial arts style some years ago but my experience at Traditional Karate Center has been so much better. Sensei Ramon truly puts quality first. He wants every student to really learn and understand what they are doing. Students advance only when they are ready and when they show proficiency in their skills. As a result, each time you advance a belt level a true sense of accomplishment is felt, because you met the high standards that were set.
