I am so glad that I have found this place!…read more I was on the search for a trustworthy, reliable martial arts school for my 6 year old son. After going through countless phone calls and online searches, I found Meng's Martial Arts. Facility is clean, spacious and well maintained. Plenty of room for students to exercise and learn. Diverse class and Sifu Ryan usually has an extra set of helpers/assistants to assist the students. The staff is very attentive and gives a lot of emotional and physical support. The Tiny Tiger program (ages 4-7 I think) meet 3 times a week, for 45 minutes which I believe is great in addition to their reasonable prices! The class is more than just being physical and learning self defense. My son has learned to be more respectful and disciplined, to have more self control and awareness. His attitude has changed so much, and he's made new friends! Parents are more than welcome to lounge around in the lobby, or sit on the sidelines and observe the class. If you're looking for a martial arts class for your child (or yourself) this place is it! They're very open to new students, and have no issues answering any questions or concerns. I know my son is in great hands at this school.

This school looks exactly how it looks, welcoming, friendly, and family oriented. When I walked in Professor Rose welcomed me and introduced me to Professor Dentinho. The class was great and I had great training partners during our rolls. I highly recommend this school for locals AND visitors. ‼UPDATE‼ Christie…read morethank you for breaking down the process of how taxes work in Texas. Are you missing the comment where I have been charged for sessions unauthorized? Also, to say that there was zero debate is a complete fallacy. Did I not contact your gym several times for this current pending membership charge? I had to contact your gym for the third time and let them know that I would be filing fraud charges. You would know these issues arose if you were present at your gym frequently. In addition, my friend and I gave you gym a 45 day notice verbally, and written notice 30 days prior. No one at the front desk or our trainer knew the steps to closing out our membership. We were sent away and told to speak to Tim who was out on medical leave, and you were out of town. When we were able to finally speak Tim we were told to write our names and numbers on a sheet of paper and we would be called, which we were not (hence why we were charged this month). I know you were aware because I overheard your convo with my trainer saying "his pay might be affected." Time started on Thursday (August 2nd) he never received the paper. When my friend called he said he did, however she was still charged, and has been waiting days for a return phone call. So are these business mistakes or just an poorly run business?
