I had high hopes for this daycare. It was close by, seemed clean, and the owner initially seemed…read morenice, although somewhat cocky. My impression changed after my puppy, My puppy , became very ill. I understand illnesses can spread wherever dogs socialize. My concern is how the situation was communicated and handled. Despite My puppy attending four days a week, Tuesday through Friday, the owner did not contact me directly about an outbreak at the kennel. When I raised this, he told me I "must have missed the memo." Without that information, I could have shown up for her regular Tuesday visit only to be turned away, leaving me without care and unable to work. I explained how upsetting this was, but I did not feel he took responsibility for the lack of communication. This situation affected both my puppy's health and my livelihood. I expected timely communication and accountability from someone I trusted with my dog. Based on my experience, I no longer feel comfortable recommending this daycare.

They have many different colors and designs, as well as some handbags and pottery that was pretty sweet. My favorite part about this place is that they carry hemp products! Dr. Bronner's soap, hemp chapstick (get the peppermint flavor) and more will keep me coming down to the Four Corners when I need to get fun gifts and/or vegetable plants.

Animal Hospital of Putnam has cared for my rabbits on numerous occasions and I have been more than happy with the expertise, caring and support I have received. The doctors are skilled and compassionate. After-care is always explained well. I have also had to bring pets in on emergency basis and we are always received immediately. The doctors take the time to explain the problem thoroughly. The staff is remarkably caring and supportive. I have also received calls to check on how my pets are doing after care at the hospital. I would also like to mention that the prices charged for the work done are very reasonable. They initially, one month ago, when we made the appointment said that we needed to bring them in for 8:15 to 8:30. Yesterday I got two messages and my kids partner got two messages saying that the appointment was at 12:15 so we prepared for that. Just like with some doctors appointments who change their times without warning, i assumed this was them changing the times of availability. With two messages to me and two messages to my kid's partner who has Sammy's brother, confirming the same time, I assumed it was accurate. (My bad for assuming, but why would i think otherwise when 4 messages says the same thing? ) I got a call this morning at 8:40 asking where we were. I was not by the phone at the time. When I called them, they said I needed to be there by 9:30 in order to get them in for surgery. I said I live a half an hour away. It was 9:15 when I was talking to them. I said it's going to take me at least a half an hour to get there. They said, well we can't take you today. This after people taking time off of work and getting the cats prepared with no meals since midnight last night. I pleaded with them. They were extremely rude to me and they kept talking over me. If I had left my house when I was on the phone, I would have reached their office at 9:45. There was no leeway given even though they were the ones that sent the mixed messages. They kept saying I made the mistake with the time. These people were extremely rude and unwilling to bend to help two people that they gave mixed messages to. Consumer beware.
