If you come from a seamless system such as Kaiser, where records, labs, appointments, etc., can always be accessed---this practice and network is light years behind that.. I was at Community Medical Center at the Layfette office on 2/25/22 for a lab draw. I checked in…read morewith registration around 11am. At the time I was unaware that the business establishment still required masks to be worn. I entered without one. The 2 registration clerks rudely told me to put a mask on and promptly handed me a mask, to which I replied that I had a mask in my pocket. I took it out of my pocket, just after the clerk again rudely told me to put it on immediately to which I obliged. I put my mask on, completed checking in and proceeded to the Laboratory waiting area. There was no further discussion on masks. No confrontation and no refusal on my part. To my knowledge all was well. Today however, I received an email from my employer that a CMC employee submitted a complaint, stating that I refused to wear my mask. Not only did the employee that called, blatantly LIE she also went through my personal file to find out MY personal work information. I want to preface that to my knowledge all mask mandates had been lifted in the state of Colorado, so any mask requirement currently in place is related to the individual business policy/preference and NOT legally law or mandate. Additionally I would confidently request the office to pull up surveillance tapes in the lobby that show me wearing a mask with no objection. I strongly advice Community Medical Center to better inform their employees of what is and isn't acceptable in their profession. Starting with client confidentially and personal integrity. The employee clearly took unacceptable action for personal leverage, not based on honesty or fact. This is not only a breech in patient confidentiality it's additionally defamation of character and false accusation. I would greatly appreciate if a representative from human resources would contact me regarding this matter. Furthermore I don't recommend Community Medical center Lafayette for any health or wellness needs.

And she is overweight and looks unhealthy. It made me wonder if she had just given up on any real semblance of health and healing. I was sick once, throwing up in their bathroom while waiting to be seen. Instead of even looking at me, they sent me across the hall to the emergency room and the next thing I know I was being given habit-forming drugs that I did not actually need and which were not actually made for my symptoms. Any idiot could have seen this was not a life-threatening emergency. I was simply sick. You know, a strep test, urine sample, that sort of thing would have made sense.

(If you showed up puking your guts out I'm certain that they would send you across the hall . . . that's what urgent care is there for...) Dr. Duiker has seen my wife and my infant son on several occasions, ever since his birth, up through pre-K immunizations and so on. Dr. Duiker was always professional and kind . . . we have no complaints about treatment or bedside manner. Our son likes Dr. Duiker a lot, in fact, and looks forward to seeing her. As for criticisms about how the practice itself is run: Over the years I have seen them go through a few iterations of front desk staff in the reception area, but I don't think that is unusual for medical offices. I've encountered a surly attitude once or twice, for sure, but the nurses and doctors have always been gracious and professional. Try calling *anyone* in BCH, from billing, or anywhere else, and they will all give you short shrift. I've been treated way worse elsewhere. I don't hold a grudge against front-desk folks or those answering the phones -- they put up with a lot. People try to get "free treatment" or feedback on medical advice from receptionists or medical records clerks -- I think they have no clue who they are, or that Doctors are booked solid and can't answer phones at the clinic. When getting treatments and labs from my primary doctor at Family Medical Assoc, they have always called promptly to leave me messages about test results, and so on. I haven't been OVER-treated either. In fact, quite the opposite, as in most cases they tell me I'll be fine, and that I don't need anything more than rest and some ibuprofen... I have been in for everything from general check-ups to sprained ankles, bronchial infections, flu-like stuff, and a follow-up after a car accident.

I felt like she wasn't really listening to me, though she did take a significant amount of time during my appointment to complain about President Trump. She wanted me to know she is so anti-Trump that she goes to protests and Indivisible meetings, and here I thought I was going to Dr. Lisabeth Hall to get some medical advice. Who knew she was a political expert, too? This appointment was all about Dr. Hall, and I'm not sure why I was charged for it. I question whether she knows what she's doing - maybe it was a stalling method to hide her lack of knowledge. Save yourself some time and find a doctor who can give you the attention you deserve, because who needs another narcissist. I hope Boulder Community Health will look into this because I doubt I'm the first patient to hear about her political beliefs. Totally inappropriate. As far as her pricing goes, I am astounded at how much care you receive for the yearly membership with Manifest Health. It is, without question, the most well-spent money. I have multiple chronic diseases, and have a team of specialists, but Dr. Koza is my quarterback and she makes my health and life so much better. Since they could just as easily written me off and done nothing, I have to give credit where credit is due. The ownership cared enough to not just reach out to me, but to put in place systems with his staff to do better in the future.
