After my artist Adam, showed up a half hour late to the appointment, I sat in the chair for 2 hours before the needle came out while the artist paid full rate rate designing the tattoo in front of me, even though he had told me when I made the appointment that the design would be ready when I walked in. After making the image he opened up Gemini and i asked him not to use AI. The artist said "he'd just use it to show me the mark up on my arm, not to print out my stencil" which I was ok with, but then when he went to print the stencil he walked over to the other room and used AI anyways where i couldn't see him, ignoring my request for him not to. After seeing the pre ai stencil image, I didn't think I would need to check if the stencil was different than that image since I asked him to not use ai, but it left visible AI artifacts like a limbs that doesn't connect to the knee, inconsistent amount of toes and limbs of uneven length and thickness, that were not on the non AI piece he had made in front of me. After the first session of 2, everyone who saw the tattoo was able to easily tell that the image was AI, which I contacted him about, he showed me the stencil was made in Gemini and the artist refused to change the design or cover up the artifacts because 'he still has a lot to do to finish it'. Now I'm down $400 on a tattoo that I already need covered up before it was even finished because the artist *lied* about what he was putting on my arm, and the store owner is impossible to contact about refunds. Even if you are OK with AI, this place can not be trusted as a business. read more

10/10 tattoo shop! My fiancé and I have been here a few times now, each time has been last minute appointments which they always done amazing at accommodating to fit us in with an artist when available! My fiancé got an eye under his chin from the owner Mike who did a kicka$$ job!! Beautiful work and was really spot on with the details I got our son's footprint from TeeJay who got it 100% from the actual print the day he was born! Exact same size with every single detail from the creases of his foot. The most important tattoo I have on my body and he killed it for sure! My fiancé, my sister and myself got lucky to get in with Kevin yesterday (Thanksgiving night!) for some super dope zombie/voodoo bears/bunnies. Very thankful for him getting us in on a holiday he did an AMAZING job on all 3 pieces again with the details and he knocked them out so quick! So I finally went and covered my old tattoo with something much more meaningful. The lighthouse represents hope, strength, and guidance - all things that I strive for as a dad. The lighthouse is modeled after the Yaquina Bay lighthouse in Oregon. Each of the kids is represented by a ray of light from the lighthouse. We've weathered some storms but we are still standing strong. Mike did an amazing job of helping to bring this all together in an exactly what I wanted. The service, atmosphere, looking out for the customer, and skill exceeded everything I hoped for. Thank you for making this the best possible experience. Best place I've ever gotten tattooed in a tattoo shop near me can't ask fo better realism tattoo artist and they have body piercings and permanent makeup artists and they are open everyday and you can walk in and get a tattoo or a tattoo consultation they have the lowest minimum of all the shops around definitely go there! I have sat in Mike Snaryk chair for hours on my sleeve. Mike makes the session easy. I give him artist creative control. I give him my idea and he runs with it. Very good details and line work. Mike is the only I trust with my investment ink. Will be going back to Machine in Ink. The vibe in the shop is relaxing w multiple tvs to watch, all the staff are amazing. I am very disappointed in the tattoo I had done early December 2025. The design feels unfinished, and the dotted lines look awkward rather than intentional. It doesn't flow well with the hearts which were the only part I actually like (drawn by my grandchildren). Overall, the tattoo does not meet my expectations.
