I was in town to stock up on some food that needed to remain cold in my cooler, so I stopped by Macey's to pick up some dry ice. The nice lady at the counter was super helpful, making recommendations on how much we needed and the proper handling (don't touch that stuff with your bare hands, it will burn you!). One of the cleaner stores ylu could go to in the valley and tend to have more options than other grocery stores! Produce is very fresh. I think the only problem i have is the employees. Everyone there seems to genuinely hate their job and seem frustrated when you ask for help. Produce and diary employees seem to be nice tho. I bought all the ingredients to make enchiladas. The last thing that I added was the enchilada sauce. When I added it, it was dark brown like barbecue sauce I baked the enchiladas and they were uneditable. Had a bad smell and a very bitter taste. I called the store and they said they could replace the sauce. But I used hamburger meat tortillas, cheese, refried beans, onion. Expensive and it was all ruined. I wouldn't want another enchilada sauce. They weren't willing to replace my loss. I did take pictures and have proof of what the sauce look like. We ended up having to order food and spend more money on dinner. Very disappointing Considering the cost of groceries. read more

Maceys used to be known for the great customer service but in recent years, it's declined dramatically. I wanted to order a few things at the deli and waited at the counter to have someone help me. There were three employees behind the deli counter at the cash register talking amongst themselves. They did not notice me so I moved up the cash register. They continued to talk. I asked them if there was someone who could help me and they finally stopped their conversation and one girl begrudgingly helped me. When I went through to check out, the cashier did not say a word to me as she rang up my groceries. The bagger did not say anything either as he put them in bags. This grocery shopping trip made me feel like I was an inconvenience for shopping there and making the employees work while they are at work. read more

The deli is a zoo. It must be everyone's first day. They could not get a single thing right.

This is for the Providence Pharmacy. I stopped going here for years because they messed up orders or never seemed to have the order even going for hours after leaving my dr office. I live about 20 min from town. So if I take a sick kid to a dr I don't want to wait forever to get a prescription filled. I also don't want to get there and be treated like it's my fault you didn't get the message from the dr. I've been forced to use them again because they're open later than the one I like. This last experience though has me so done with them. I get to the pharmacy and wait forever behind one car. It's finally my turn. Turns out the hour they had with the called in prescription wasn't enough time. They need 20-30 min. So I do as I'm told and let the person behind me go ahead and pull out behind them. I then wait behind this person for approximately 20 min. Finally up again. They do have the prescriptions ready. Now they are having computer issues. I'm still fine ok. Annoying , but fine. That's until she tells me someone is behind me and I need to pull around and let them go ahead?!? What?!? No! I just did that. I'm fine to wait for your computer reboot. How is the next person not going to need the computer too? So then I wait for them and then get my turn?? She insists. There's now 2 cars! No way. I have a kid who just had a wisdom tooth extraction that's now an hour out needing medicine. One at home with a double ear infection. So I go in and get it in person. 40 minutes later I'm finally able to get on with my life and get my kids the help they need. I get you're understaffed. I get computers are unpredictable, but at what point is that your problem and not mine?? At what point do you go out of your way to help the patient costumer. Terrible costumer service. Terrible plan to fill prescriptions. Terrible trouble shooting backup plans. If this were just a one time event I wouldn't comment. I really try to give lots of leeway. There hours are also confusing. Online it shows later so I couldn't get a desperately needed prescription filled before the evening. The pharmacist trying to prove a point let's me know that on their official website it shows the correct time. Well awesome. So not helpful to my dr and I who saw the google time. Also thanks so much for going out of your way to prove me wrong, than to help solve a situation and help the costumer think for one second someone at Macey's cared. Cliche as it sounds I would honestly give 0 stars if I could. A place that doesn't value how valuable other people's time is so consistently needs to completely overhaul their business approach. read more

Macey's Pharmacy is wonderful! They are fast and honest and the drive-thu is a bonus! Cole has always been especially great to work with. I went to pick up an Rx that my insurance didn't cover and was quite expensive. He recommended a much cheaper OTC alternative. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Give that boy a raise! read more

Can't say I love the place, I mean, it's whatever. It's a grocery store, what do you expect? Prices are fine, a touch higher than Walmart for a touch better quality food. Selection is so so, what did you think I'd say? They have everything I need, except for the things they don't carry, but no place has everything ... except for Amazon. And Macey's is not a Jungle. I'll be back, when the wife sends me. Have have VERY PLEASANT experiences with the staff, high school and college kids often that are very pleasant before getting back to their homework. read more

This place is the worst! They are constantly having sales then hide the fact that you have to buy multiples of the item to get the sale price. When you go to check out you get bent over and taken to the cleaners because you didn't see that you have buy 10 off the same thing to get a decent price on something. Screw this place! Mormons will keep shopping here because they think it supports their religion by not opening on sundays. Don't expect a good deal or a good shopping experience. The selection of product and prices can't be beat anywhere else. The selection of gluten free products is huge with two whole freezer doors full of items as well as items like cold salads in their service deli. The produce is always top notch. The meat dept has comparable and often with sales better prices then anyone in the valley. The bakery can't be beat for taste, price and service. The employees are always willing to go over and beyond what could be expected of them. The management is willing to order in special hard to find items with just a easy fill out of a form and will start carrying the product regularly if requested. It's the case-lot and emergency preparedness sale each year that keeps bringing me back. Prices can't be beat period. read more
