My fresh paint

I just picked up my vehicle from the shop, and boy I came out beautiful! Looks brand new and bright! Highly recommend you won't be disappointed! Good job

Area they did not even fix.
Cory G.

I dropped my car off to them on 01/30/24 for claim damage from a wrap shop. Maaco was paid $2300 to repaint the doors and door jams. On Tuesday 2/13/24 I was told production manager found some things he wanted to get addressed and my car was going to be ready on 2/16/24. When I goto pick up my car it looked worse than before. It appeared they just wet sanded some areas and re cleared the doors and jams outside. when they were paid 2300 to repaint and re clear the doors and jams. There were clear coat drip marks in the door jams and areas of the damage that were not repaired. On the doors them selfs there were tons of imperfections and even a piece of hair under the clear coat. Over spray on the b pillar and on the bottom plastic areas. The list goes on. Seems like someone painted it in the backyard when they were paid $2300 for just doors and door jam and a lot more quality than what was received. They claim they are going to fix the issues so I will update this review when I pick it up. Update: 3/10/24 picked up my car a second time and very disappointed again. Will not bring my car back here to let them mess it up more. My passive door locks on my doors were not working anymore ( buttons on the door to lock/unlock) turns out they installed them backwards. drip marks everywhere and 2 different colors on my passenger front door. There areas they didn't even fix that they were paid to fix. Terrible place. Overspray INSIDE my car and stuck on my navigation screen and areas around it. Tried scrubbing it off and it will not come off. My car looks worse than before I brought it to them.

I needed some dents fixed and my bumper attached, a new side mirror and a total paint job. My car looks brand new and they did it in 5 days. Great communication and customer service. I'm so pleased. And will definitely be back if I decide to get black stripes or something else.

After picture. New bumper, restored headlights, and clean car

Brought my daughters car in because she needed a new front bumper. Lewis not only beat all other quotes by a fraction but did amazing work. All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and great to work with. They replaced the bumper and restored her headlights. They even cleaned the car. Her car was ready to pick up only 3 days later. If your looking for a great, honest and reliable business your search ends here. They are great. Thank you Lewis!

Had my car painted here and loved the results, I get a lot of compliments on my car and it's always a fun conversation talking about the quality of the paint job and how much I paid for it. The person in charge of painting is also pretty good, he was new at the time I went but did a fantastic job. All the staff was also very friendly and easy to work with. Despite this, my car does have some overspray in certain places which is acceptable considering the price I paid. Also, think another $800 was a pretty big jump for simply painting the door sills of my car but I don't paint cars for a living so I wouldn't know. ***IMPORTANT*** A lot of people reviewing don't really understand the true nature of Maaco so I'll just put some pointers for what to expect at all Maaco's. This is not meant to tarnish the business in any way but here we go: 1. For starters, Maaco is a FRANCHISE, meaning that it's like the Mcdonald's of Auto Body Shops. You don't go to McDonald's expecting the best quality food, if you want quality, you should look for a body shop owned by actual professionals. 2. Because it is a franchise, the people working on your car are expected to work under certain guidelines. Painting a car takes time and they are expected to go through several cars each day, explaining why quality can often come out poor. 3. For the quality of work, their pricing isn't that bad. Yes your car may come out with overspray and yes the quality control might be poor, but you're getting your car repainted for like $3,000 (assuming you're getting one of the higher options). Other auto body shops charge a minimum of like $4,000, so if you want your car to be painted with absolute care and no issues at all, save up and invest in a shop that will actually give your car's paint some longevity. 4. If you still want to go through with a Maaco paint job, it's often better if you do most of the prep work yourself or have someone else do it. Doing prep-work before giving your car to Maaco is often recommended by a lot of people and gives the best results. Again, referring to my 2nd point, their guidelines only give them a certain amount of time to do what they need to do so for better results, do it yourself. If you think this is too much work, go to a better body shop since you'd probably want your car painted with the utmost care as well. 5. Again, you shouldn't come here expecting an A-grade paint job for almost half the price you should be paying. If you want a high-quality paint job, it's not going to be cheap. 6. With many car enthusiasts, this place is known for getting your car painted for cheap, and, for the price, it's pretty worth it. Oftentimes, people use Maaco to paint their car knowing that they want to change it in the near future. They do a decent enough job for people to give you compliments. Just don't come expecting a high-quality paint job that'll last you 5-10 years, it'll probably last you 2 at the most but by then, most of us would have already changed our car's colors. ****************** With all that being said, I added a before and after of my car; the paint has constantly given me compliments and I spent about $1,200 for it, which is a steal seeing how much the car's changed. I did do some prep work before sending it off so do keep that in mind. Overall experience was great, car looks great, there are some places with overspray but for the price I paid, I have no complaints.

Made appointment online, got there and told me due to the age of my car they won't even see it. F this place

Just had our car painted at Maaco in San Bernardino. Start to finish is was a great experience! Largely due to Carlos, who couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! We had some heavy oxidation on the hood & roof of the car and were worried that it would still show through, but it doesn't. We chose the Premium Paint & Urethane Sealer and we're glad we did. The car looks brand new! And it was done a week sooner than they said it would! We couldn't be happier! Thanks Maaco!!

Overall to repaint a very old car, it's not bad. Just expect alot of flaws. You get what you pay for.

At first, I planned to take my car to the same shop that repaired it 4 years ago when it was rear-ended. Even though they had a new owner for the past 3 years, he agreed to fix a blend mark on my back bumper, and in return I promised to give him my business for this accident. Unfortunately, after my car was deemed a total loss and sat there for 3 weeks, that shop made $3,000 in storage fees from the insurance. At that point, it felt like the owner was less interested in actually helping me and more focused on the money he'd already made. Things only got worse when my car was accidentally placed in Copart's possession, which delayed the release another 4 days. By the time I finally had my car back, I was frustrated and drained from the whole process. That's when I found Royal Road Collision -- and everything changed. From my very first call with Ana, I could tell this shop was different. When I met the owner, Sebastian, and shared everything I'd gone through, he immediately stepped in to help. Even with a busy schedule, he cleared space to get my car repaired quickly. Walking into the shop, I was greeted by Sebastian, his mom at the front desk, and their corgi, Maximo. It was such a welcoming, family-run environment, and honestly felt like an answer to prayer. From the beginning I could tell Sebastian prided himself on building genuine relationships with his customers. He wasn't concerned with making a quick buck like the other shop, but instead with earning a lifetime customer -- a customer that felt like family. He absolutely earned one. When I finally got my car back, I was blown away. The quality of the repair, the care they showed, and the honesty throughout the entire process were unmatched. This shop is family-owned, genuine, and truly THE REAL DEAL. Do not -- and I mean do not -- waste your time anywhere else. Royal Road Collision will take care of you, and you'll thank me later.

This included negotiating with insurance to cover the best available parts, working to order the parts despite tariffs and supply issues, and painting/re-painting the car to make sure the coat was perfect. They even helped me install my dash cam as well and made the interior smell like a new car. I would definitely recommend this family business who clearly put their best effort into taking care of their clients. I fully trust their business integrity and that they will not negotiate in providing the best final product. They are the only body shop I will go to from now on.

The insurance estimate and agreement was done the next day with an agreement of 7 business days. When I called for an update on my car on day 7 as I had not received an update on a possible delay. When I called first I was told the car was going to take an additional 7 business due to waiting on aftermarket parts. When I asked if there is any way I can assist in getting these parts else where to speed up the process, and was told no with no explanation. The phone was then handed off to another employee. When asking again if we can get the parts through another vendor I was told by the second employee they had located and received all the parts and the delay was not in receiving the parts but rather they were waiting to paint the parts and assembled the car. It was never clarified what the actual delay was and unapologetically told "well I'm not going to half ass the job it will get done when we told you it will be done" I am very dissatisfied with the communication and customer service. Totally ridiculous and very unprofessional collision center. I would not recommend R&F auto collision center.
