I had him inspect my daughter's car to get an assessment on what she needed to get done and since it was a second hand car (her first car), I knew there were going to be issues. He charged a reasonable rate and provided an estimate on each items so that I can be aware of the cost when we finally decide to get the work done. I also had my brakes and rotors replaced and my car is driving so much better now. I didn't know what to expect, as I never used a mobile mechanic and I must say, his prices are quite reasonable. I will definitely be calling Ramiro for our future automotive repair needs.

I give three stars because it seemed pretty fast (24 hours) and because i know i cant be certain about work condition, although i did notice some of the tools there were low quality harbour frieght brand. I was stranded, traveling in my van. I feel that John treated me with prejudice because I was traveling in a van. I wasn't invited to have coffee or snacks, I struggled to find the restroom, and I walked out of there to a hotel 2 miles away twice without being offered a ride. No one tried to shake my hand. The headlights took an extra day since the car is a euro and the parts needed to be ordered. The place is busy and full of cars! Definitely go in early or call to see when the best time is to get your service done. I was looking at the low star reviews.... Be realistic with your expectations when bringing in your car. If you have a unique problem, chances are it's going to take longer than you would want it to take to get it fixed. Otherwise just go to the dealer to get it fixed and pay dealer rates/prices. All in all, Vinh's pretty straightforward and honest about the labor and parts. Definitely recommending the shop to all my friends!

Rather than take our Honda CRV or the Civic sport to Honda for service we might go there to get something very minor and find out what we need but when we want to get it done, we take it the cost of auto care they do everything they stand behind their work and they're not funny style and what I mean by that is if you don't need something, they'll let you know they'll come by and check your tires. They will rotate your tires balance some and they'll do like different maintenance on your car that you need that the dealer of course we charge you twice as much for. I'd recommend Costa they're pretty busy they're located in East Oakland and I believe they're closed on Sundays but they're definitely worth it. If you can make an appointment to drop your car off there to get it serviced usually they don't. They don't allow you to wait because they take their time and diagnosing everything and making sure they do it right and sometimes they may have to order things, but I would highly recommend you check them out. My family has been relying on them not only for tires, but for maintenance for almost 20 something year maybe 25 years.
