The taxi driver that Macallen employ was supposed to pick me up at 2am and turned up at 3.05am. My friend who had the phone number rang him and obviously woke him up because he said he had overslept. By the time he got to me he then said his dog had chewed his lead to his mobile phone so his alarm didn't go off. A totally different story. When I returned from my holiday I complained to Macallen who advised they had spoken to the driver and they were not interested in my complaint. Will not be using them again. read more

Wide range of brochures to take and contemplate before making a decision. Offer day trips as well as main holidays. Parking is limited, but good public access with bus stop close by. read more

Situated in the middle of the Hockley shopping area about five minutes from the station and about thirty seconds from the bus stops.Macallens is a small independent travel agency of many years standing.The staff are both knowledgeable and helpful and if you explain your requirements they seem to come up with holidays to suit.I have used their services many times and have yet to find them wanting and I always leave the shop feeling that my custom really matters to them. read more
