Tonight I had to purchase a new flat iron as a faulty wall switch fried not only my flat iron but also my curling iron as well. As I hadn't needed a flat iron for years I was overwhelmed with all the choices when an employee offered her help she laughed when I told her I didn't want to look like a poodle with a bad hair job and discussed my natural hair type. Glad to say I walked out with a new CHI G2 Generation that straightens and curls. As I went to checkout the cashier was so nice she tried a coupon I was emailed and I got 20% off which I was thrilled about yay.

I do understand that my hair is a little long (mid back) and although the fine print didn't specify the length for the service, I sat down to talk. I showed her what I wanted which was a sort of aMushroom blonde tone hair, and I already have a balayage done with bunch of highlights (my hair is blonde) and she went on saying that it was a 4 hour service, that it would cost more than $200, that she had to weave all through my hair, that she had to use 3 colors, etc. I kept saying that ALL I wanted was a few more highlights and tone the brassiness off. Not in her vocabulary. Anyway, she finally did nothing and I had Groupon return my money. Oh! I forgot to mention that she wanted to charge me $55 fo cutting my split ends
