Delicious food but I wish it was a little larger in size b.c they can't fit too many people.

Best burger I've ever had! Good atmosphere and great drinks. We followed yelp to get here. We will come back!!!

Place was awesome---Bacon Cheeseburger was awesome and the fries were golden and crispy and the cookie sundae was to crave for and the staff is friendly and it's worth the wait!!!! read more

Enjoyed a fabulous meal. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious! Service was great even though the restaurant was packed. Love the decor . Can't wait to go back Highly recommended read more

Absolutely delicious. Went with a few friends as a thank you for helping us move in to our house and it was a tasty reward! Their "where's the beef" (vegetarian) burger is so good. Already have gone back a second time with other friends who loves it as well. They have gluten free buns as well. read more

The mac and cheese wasn't the best but the burgers are by far the best i've ever tasted

Good selection of great burgers, beers and bourbons. Friendly wait staff, too. Fine local place.

I want to like this place. I do. It's just...why is the menu so overwhelming to look at? Yet, somehow, there's very few options that aren't completely fried. And how are fries not included with sandwiches? It would be nice if they offered/advertised drink specials outside of beer. The Cobb Salad is a really nice size. The onion rings and fried pickles are yummy but can be very greasy. When you come to this place just know that you are going for greasy and fried comfort food. read more

I really, really, really wanted to like this place. The idea of Bourbon drinks, burgers, and beers is great. However, the experience fell short. I will say there are several things that were great: the first was being able to join the waitlist online. For a family with kids, this was key, and we didn't wait at all when we arrived. Amen. The second was our server, whose name I forgot (but she has a 2 year old son). She was spectacular with our anxious, shy, picky eater. In fact, every server and staff person was super friendly and lovely. The third thing was the chicken sandwich. Delicious. After that, though, we were disappointed. The kids ordered from the kids menu (which does have several choices). My daughter's mac n cheese was a bowl of spiral pasta with shredded cheese melted on top. Which looked dreadful and my daughter didn't touch it. They do have mac n cheese on the adult menu, so I wonder if they serve the same thing? My son had chicken fingers and fries. Both my kids and my husband tried the chicken fingers and said they had a strange aftertaste. We also ordered pulled pork. This was delicious, except the bun got all soggy and couldn't be picked up. In general, I would say adults who are more interested in adult drinks and snacks would do well here, but not a great choice for families, especially those with picky eaters. read more

Had dinner recently. Approx 5pm. Waitress , no wait. Waitress nice , at 1st, knowledgeable, was training someone. Forgot about us a couple of times. Wife and I both had burgers, mine was overcooked. My fries were cold.Had a Spencer ale, which is 1 reason for going. Wife had diet cola. Wife and I tried bourbon tasting Recommended by waitress. Was good. Met sales lady from Spencer brewery. She recommended Monks reserve. Waitress would only serve us tasting size and not the full size. I know the Monks reserve has a higher alcohol content. She insulted me! I think she thought I was inebriated but I was not. Besides, my wife and I came in same vehicle? I can understand poor food, everybody makes mistakes. But to be insulted like that is not acceptable. I had been wanting to try this place for a while. Their theme of: burgers, beer and bourbon was interesting to me to want to try. I probably will not go back. Its not that they LOST my business, it's who I'm going to tell. And we dine out a lot. read more

Boy am I glad this place has opened in the area! Recently moving to Attleboro from Providence I have struggled finding a good place for a burger and some comfort food other than a fast food chain (if that) This place does it right! Cool atmosphere, great music playlist (my fiancées favorite part) great food and great drinks. While they do specialize in beer and bourbon they don't leave out other preferences such as wine and cocktails which is a big plus in my book! I have had a few things on the menu and all were great but the pulled pork sandwich is def my go to. Highly recommend! Also, the reg fries are to die for and one order is enough for a few people. Enjoy! read more

Good for takeout, but not a lot of space. Not that that really matters right now of course.

We finally got around to trying this place and it was okay at best. We ordered the fried pickles, which were mediocre with a sauce that didn't really go well with them and breading that was falling off the chips. An order of poutine style fries, and while the fries were very good, the gravy tasted like it was out of a can. The burgers we had were good but nothing special and about as good as Five Guys. So two appetizers, two burgers and two alcoholic drinks = $65. That's why we won't be back. That's expensive for middle of the road. The restaurant is clean and the service was very good, but the bill made me choke. You can get double the food at half the price at any other burger joint. read more

Great food. Good service. Three bathrooms, no changing table. Add that and it'll be the best place in Norton.

Three words: Shrimp N Grits. They are excellent! Wings are good too as are the fried pickles & onion rings. Everything is made fresh and very good but those are the stand outs in my opinion. The atmosphere is fun, if busy, and a little loud at time. The tap list is very good and features some of the local favorites. Service has always been top notch. I only wish the place was a little bigger because it's usually very busy (for a reason). read more

Visited this establishment two days in a row after traveling to La Salette. First time, impressed with the corn bread, Mac and Cheese burger, and sweet potatoes fries. Fries need to be ordered separately. Second day, cornbread was really dry, burgers were dried out and burnt. Pulled Pork Nachos were okay, but not anything special. Food quality did not merit the expensive price tag. Unimpressed with service both days. Hard to get our waitresses attention, even for another drink, on both nights. Not sure if we go, whether the food will be day 1 or day 2 quality. read more

By far, the best burgers in town, even the surrounding towns and the hand cut fries are amazing. Well worth the wait.

The rustic feel was a nice change, came out great. Prices & food are amazing! Staff was friendly and kept the place spotless. Shripm po boy & sweet potato fries..yum. Nice draft beer list. Will be back. read more

We dined here last Sunday evening, after seeing this place on Phantom Gourmet. We were both disappointed. Not only were the chairs uncomfortable, but the food was very bland and not seasoned. My dinner partner had the burger with the mac 'n cheese "bun." Burger was bland and the "bun" was dry. The cheese sauce poured over the top completely ruined the onion rings on the burger. We had a side of poutine, which was made with little chunks of mozzarella and not real cheese curds. I ordered the country-fried steak. The mashed potato and green bean sides were good, but again the meat was not seasoned prior to cooking and lacked flavor. Our server was very polite, but our service was a little slow. I also had to request butter for my sides. I never understood why restaurants don't provide butter WITH the meal, instead of making people wait while their meals get cold. Last, they had three options for dessert, none of which were appealing to me as I had a couple of them in my freezer at home. When I eat out, I want something decadent after my meal. I might return here if in the neighborhood, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again. read more

Convenient location after leaving an event at Wheaton College. We enjoyed our meal. Everyone at our table received their food at different times. Therefore, I would say that the coordination of food from the kitchen could be better. However, we liked everything we had, from corn bread to pulled pork sandwiches to burgers to the chicken and waffles. Everything was good. read more

Awesome draft beer selection, great/unique apps, and the best burgers around. Definitely will be coming back here as it is probably the best beer burger bar within a 30 minute drive! read more

Staff is always extremely friendly and professional, amazing whiskey selection, and top notch food. Started making a trip here every Friday and it's well worth it. read more

It was really good food but the waitress never came to check on us and I did not get the right food. I had to take the right food to go and was still charged. Great atmosphere and awesome food just didn't get good service that night. Update: the manager was very nice and gave us a gift card to try them out again! The service was much better and the food is fantastic! Will be going again read more

Great! Their short rib special sandwich was exceptional. Fries are had cut and are hot! Fantastic Mac & Walts Old Fashion was wonderful!

We so miss Patty's Place but Mac and Walt's is a great place with high quality. The burgers are great. As are the fries and fried pickles. We love the expansion. Get there early for a good parking spot! read more

Just give it a try and make up your own mind! My wife and I happen to enjoy this place. We have our go-to's in regards to food. Our favorite thing to do is to go during the day when we aren't working for a drink and app at the bar. I'd say their drinks are what makes them standout! read more

I really like their burgers although slim for price. Unique style. I wish they would bring back pecan pie. Need more desserts, ice cream flavors. read more

They claim to have gluten free options but couldn't tell us if the tortillas were GF or anything else on the menu. The regular hamburger was good. read more

Went for drinks. Nice decor, good beer selection (although the don't seem to pour a full pint), and nice bourbon menu. Had appetizers and desert. Both were quite good. I recommend the pecan pie. I plan to go back and see what dinner is like. read more

Great mid-priced food, drink, and hospitality from an experienced restaurant family. Mac & Walt's stays true to their mission. They serve up: Burgers, Beer, and Bourbon. In addition, I am developing an addition to their shrimp and grits. Atmosphere - Small, cozy, warm, different. For a long time Norton has been a place with a bunch of same old places. Thanks to Mac & Walt's and some other new entries, Norton suddenly has a lot more to offer than the old school buffalo wing place. read more

The food, atmosphere and service were awesome. They were super accommodating to our almost 2 year old. The Mac and cheese was awesome as was the chicken and waffles. Definitely recommend :) read more

Only reason this is not a five is due to lack of pulled pork. Switched my order to a burger, wasn't disappointed, it was delicious. A terrific selection of microbrews on tap. Very friendly, attentive staff. read more

Outstanding place we have visited 4-5 times and have always had a good experience. Excellent gluten free choices. Good burgers and fries. Apps are tasty. Can be hard to get a seat but worth the short wait. read more

Hidden gem. Burger beer and bourbon. Great spot for good eats. Flight of whiskey and beer. Great selection of burgers or byob. Beef is from a farm from the state of Maine. I was over indulge myself added a side of fried pickles and sweet potato fries. Great cocktail list as well. There are also entree dishes on the menu. I end up with a burger. My son loved the chicken slider on the kids menu. Spot is warming and cozy. read more

The food here is great. Recently we've been pretty disappointed by some changes at Mac & Walt's though. First, they stopped honoring their Monday buy one get one half off burgers advertised on their sign, for to-go orders, stating it only applies to eat-in orders. Tonight, I called to place a to-go order and was told they're not taking to-go orders. I looked at the yelp waitlist and the wait is only 15-25 minutes so it's not as if they were far too busy to make a few burgers to go. Not everyone is able to go and eat in the restaurant due to a variety of limitations. Great food is not a replacement for great customer service. Pretty disappointed in my most recent experiences here after having been a frequent patron. read more
