While we were in Jenks to visit the Third Friday Art Walk, we popped in. A duo was playing great music and it seemed like most people in the bar were fans. It was great people watching. The music was fantastic and eclectic. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and prompt. Just had a couple of beers and moved on. Wish they had food and we definitely would have stayed. Definitely want to go back and hear some sounds in the pack patio.

The sound system was excellent (I'd suggest sitting farther back of intense noise is an issue for you). The band we saw was an 80s tribute band whose name I can't remember, but they were awesome. We didn't have any food, so I can't offer thoughts on that -- I will say that the non-beer selection of hard alcohol was super limited. I'm a bourbon person and I think there was Jack Daniel's and Maker's and that's about it. Not sure about other types of alcohol. For an entertainment spot, though, definitely 4 stars. I don't get that it was hotter inside the venue than out. It was so hot that 99% of the people who were there were discussing how crazy hot it was. This was before the band ever started. They said the air was on but added that the building was a gas station in the way back and doesn't have much insulation. They said it's always hot in the summer. Okay, mental note...don't buy tickets to go there when it's above 90-95 degrees. (It was 100 today.) Ceiling fans, box fans anything to move the air would have helped. We were not able to wait for the band to start because the closer it got to starting time the more crowded and hotter it got. We tried to get our money back, along with the people in front of us, The venue said they are unable to refund any money. Grrr!

"As of April 2026, Los Cabos Mexican Grill in the Tulsa area offers a Handmade Spicy Beef Tamales appetizer, featuring two shredded beef tamales in spicy masa topped with chili con carne or queso, often served with sour cream." If it's sour cream you know it's gonna be a little drizzle. I asked for more queso & got about 1 1/2 tablespoons. I Ended up asking for the plate that accompanies fajitas. The dish, burnt, just needed "stuff". You can add rice/beans if you wish. Either make/serve appropriately or not at all. I love tamales. Buy some originals at Reasors, add queso & pico on a bed of rice w/ cilantro and there's a tasty meal (steam the tamales). Our friend who ordered Yucattan tacos at last minute over ceviche, was appalled. The beef was so fatty she couldn't eat It. No cilantro. For $16 that's pretty bad. BUT, returning to the top. The staff was pleasant in midst of this complete mess and responded/delivered to our every request and there were many. We'll be back on a better day so Hubby can get his fajitas fix.
