Be aware that they ONLY WORK WITH INSURANCE. I went to get a "free estimate" that they claim on their website and already went through my insurer and decided to keep my totaled car and just repair the damage out of pocket. The manager took one glance and would not stop talking about the insurance process which I respectfully told him I already knew but wanted to pay OOP and wanted to find a good estimate but when he wouldn't even listen to what my own insurance company told me I realized I was wasting my time. In a accident where I needed the whole bumper to be replaced and a headlight, with some hood damage There were things that did not get repaired properly the bumper would stick out (loose) and the hood would not lineup with the bumper don't know if the insurance did not appraise a piece of the LED light next to the headlight that did not get replaced, paint job has Orange peel pretty much all over the bumper and is missing the metallics paint, was told by the guy that runs the place that ""it's not always going to be perfect that there was things that could not be fixed"" there was no frame damage so all those things which I'm pretty sure we're just brackets could of been replaced read more

The work was competitively quoted, and he worked aggressively to get my vehicle back to me very quickly. So much so that I went from only getting my free estimate to immediately leaving the car with him. They performed a dent repair and paint to the rear door of my car, as well as removed (paintless) a dent on my right front fender right on a corner line. Both parts of the job were performed flawlessly - I am still amazed at how they managed to remove the dent on the fender without additional work - and leaving it as if it had never happened. So I stopped by Maaco on a Saturday afternoon to get an estimate on the bumper repair. I got a dent last winter and didn't take care of it right away and that affected the bumper screw to come off little by little. So now a year later, I noticed that the screw came out and is no longer holding the bumper tight. I met with Jatin. He was very informative and polite. He took at the dent and gave me an estimate while explaining what exactly his team would do to fix it. I thought that was a pretty decent quote. However, I decided to take care of the bumper first. Made my appointment online for hail damage got to the appointment what is meant by the manager jatin Patel who first asked me what my insurance was or what insurance am I working with and of course I automatically gave him the name of my insurance. Advise that they do not do the estimate there they have a another company do it and I have to give them on my insurance information the only problem is I just needed an estimate and I'm not going through my insurance. So I argued the fact that I want to pay cash and he said we don't work that way we only go through your insurance. Unfortunately there was nothing said about that when I made the appointment if that were the case you can't go in and pay cash for work to be done on your car I would have never went there. I searched extensively for an auto body shop to repair a deep scratch on my passengers side towards the back bumper. For the relatively small size of the damage, it wasn't worth filing an insurance claim, however, I knew that even small damage areas can easily become costly to do the repair well, and that it would be hard to find the right intersection of work I could trust and price I could afford. I searched in several towns and got three different quotes. When I brought the lowest quote back to Maaco, they worked with me to reduce the price of their estimate closer, and I felt that Maaco's quality would be more reliable so I was willing to pay a small premium over the lowest quote. From start to finish, Jatin, the manager was courteous, professional, organized, responsive, friendly, honest, thoughtful, and enthusiastic. Just got my old Honda CRX redone and am happy with the results. It was ALOT of work. My car was pretty bad and they cut out the rust, re welded new metal on the car and painted it. Looks brand new! I worked with the manager (owner?) Jatin. He listened to my specific requests, such as not painting certain areas. As long as you are specific with your requests, they will do a good job. They got my car back in a timely manner and since I was anxious to see my car in progress, he let me take a look to see how and what they were doing, so it was a good experience. I'm well aware that the nationwide chain "Maaco" doesn't have good standing amongst the general public, but I took a chance here anyway after meeting the main guy Justin, and I'm glad I did. The kind of customer service I experienced here during the both times I visited is unremarkable . I felt like I mattered here, and he also made the entire experience very easy and comfortable. Justin is extremely polite, friendly and courteous, and he understands that no one wants to spend a lot of time in a body shop, so he does things quickly, but thoroughly. I was not confused for even a moment during my visits. He also has the best rates around town, and I went to a few local shops looking for the lowest quote since I was paying out of pocket. Bodywork & Paint: Absolutely flawless. Couldn't even tell where the work was done. The bodywork was perfect both times, the paint match was perfect, and the blending was perfect. They nailed it on the head every time. During my most recent visit I brought in my Pearl White Nissan, which was a special 3-stage paint that requires a lot of special detail, and nothing was overlooked. It simply looks amazing. Solid 5 star rating for this Maaco, Justin, and his staff. They really know their stuff, and the customer service here is beyond comparison. I went in to have a bumper on a 2015 fusion repainted Black. Brought it back due to little dust particles in the paint. Spoke with Jatin who advised me that I had a lifetime warrenty on the paint when and after I spent over a thousand for the repaint on the bumper. He brought me back to his paint booth and stated that him, and the employees do their best to keep the paint booth clean but that dust still gets into the paint. Then Jatin showed me 3 or 4 other bumper and fenders he just painted with the same mistake made. Little dust spots all over. When I originally took it in I was promised that it would be flawless. That promise was broken. I had it redone by Jerrys Auto collision up the street who did it cheaper and at a better quality. This Maaco is no good. Prices are way to high. The quality is not there. I never put up bad reviews, but I felt like everyone should know to stay away from this place. There are way better Auto Bodies that do way better work out there, and for much less. In April of 2013 I had my car's bumper painted at Maaco. I was shocked at the cost of over $800 for just a bumper. Justin (Manager) said don't worry my man (acting like a friend), any problems come back and we fix it for free. I said I just do not want the paint to flake off like it is doing now. He said he would use a flex additive and this is why the paint cost so much. When I got the car back it looked fine, but the cars fog lights were not working. Justin said, " we are sorry, but are not mechanics and we can't fix them". Then he said it looks nice right? It did, so I let it slide and had the wiring redone at a mechanic for about another $100. I was just happy to get my car back. We'll it is now January 2014 and the paint is flaking off, showing the old paint underneath. My car was not even sanded, seemingly no flex additive was used and it looks horrible. I went back to Maaco and spoke to Justin. He said it is not the paint it is the weather. He then said they do not warrantee the work and he would simply repaint for half the cost. I said you told me I had a warrantee and the paperwork says warrantee of "1-year full and 2 years proactive". He then said I hit snow or something. I said I did not and I tapped on the bumper. More paint fell off on the other side. I would not recommend this body shop to anyone ! read more

I made an appointment online on a Wednesday and scheduled it for that Saturday afternoon. I showed up a little early for my "scheduled" time and the employee told me I couldn't get my estimate because the time I booked my appointment was when they were closed...so why was it an option? I asked why nobody called me and told me and he said because they were closed that Thursday and Friday for New Years...so nobody on Wednesday or Saturday could have called me? My car required repair to areas rusted through around the rear wheels and peeling on the front end. The car was ready a day earlier than expected and it looks great. The repairs are not visible at all. The paint is blended into the rear doors from the quarter panels for a seamless transition.
