I went to Divas today for a Brazilian wax. I was stepping out on a limb and trying to find a quality wax place in my area. I recently had a terrible wax experience at another place and almost wanted to give up. But I am so glad I didn't! If you're in the area it's definitely top notch! I moved to a new location so I was looking for a location closer to home. I passed this place a few times so I decided to patronize this location first. This place is clean with a warm ambiance. The receptionist was very friendly and inviting. They got me back immediately for my service. I was months past my Brazilian so was expecting a painful experience. This was the best wax EVER. The pain was minimal and the tech was very attentive. I would one hundred percent recommend. Also, they charge a low price of $25 for your first visit so be a gem a tip well. read more

Went in for to get my first Brazilian in September with Missy. Since then I've only been going to her and will continue to do so in the future. Always does an amazing job and the first time experience really nice. They also give advice on what to do between appointments which is great if you have no clue of what products to use. It is so easy to make an appointment The waxers are super friendly have been in 2x. The salon is really clean itself The room is well lit and sorted Only issue with bed is lots of hair stuck on the sheets that has the paper sheet over it Some hair did get left behind they didn't go over or check. I have been going to Diva Body Wax since it first opened. I always get Brazilian waxes and I always leave so bare and smooth. They make the process so pain-free and that's what I love about this place. Magali is great! I tried Sophia yesterday and my experience was phenomenal! She must have magical hands because I was way past due for a wax, and it felt just like an ordinary routine (3-4 week) wax appointment. (I have a very low pain tolerance). She took her time, massaged my skin after each "rip" of wax, and even put a nice oil on afterwards. You can tell that they know their craft because they are always suggesting new remedies for skin care down there and everywhere! Very knowledgeable! I will continue to come back and refer friends! After multiple terrible experiences getting a Brazilian, I was on a mission to find somewhere that didn't leave me feeling traumatized. After reading some really great reviews for Divas, I decided to give it try and I am soooo glad that I did!! This place is an absolute gem! I got a Brazilian wax by Sophia and was thoroughly impressed not only by her professionalism, but also by her super sweet personality. She didn't rush my service, but took her time and made sure that I was completely comfortable. She talked and laughed with me during the entire service, and she was more than willing to answer any and all questions that I had. She even went above and beyond to explain after-care to reduce any redness, pain, or ingrown hairs (something I've never experienced!) I never thought that getting a Brazilian could be that painless. I highly recommend Divas Body Wax!!! I had my first Brazilian completed today by Magaly. With this being my first time, I had made myself sick over how horrible I thought the experience was going to be. Magaly changed all of that as soon as I walked in the door. She is very personable and caring! Those factors alone made for a great experience. The process did hurt, but not to a point where I couldn't handle it, thanks to Magaly keeping me focused on our convo. It only took about 15 min and I was in and out. I had a similar poor experience to Regina C. at Divas. I had a bikini sugaring appointment scheduled for 6 PM on a Friday. I was contacted at 3:30 that afternoon to be told sugaring was not possible until I had a waxing appointment done first for safety reasons. This was understandable, and while I was informed a little last-minute, I appreciated the heads-up prior to coming in. My esthetician was changed from Magali to Lorena though due to the type of appointment being changed. I showed up at my scheduled time to an esthetician who was visibly annoyed she had to stay later for an appointment that was not originally hers. Lorena from the start made no effort to make me feel comfortable, was silent throughout the appointment, and never asked how I was doing or if I was content with the work done. Afterward, as I was getting ready to leave, I noticed wax on my underwear and other places it should not have been. I had to stay behind in the room to pull wax off of myself, which was incredibly painful. Lorena came back to see what the issue was and when I told her there was leftover, she didn't seem too bothered. Lorena then tried to schedule my next appointment, but after such a terrible experience, I had no desire to return. As soon as I was out the door, the 'Open' signed was turned off and the doors were locked, confirming that I was being rushed out the door to close. I left in pain and feeling like an inconvenience.
