After confirming that they processed it through insurance, I was charged $5 instead. Since I received the wrong prescription, I had to make a special trip back to the drive-thru to return it and request the correct one. They assured me that the money I paid would be refunded to my card, even though I had paid in cash. I waited in line for another 40 minutes, only to be told that the prescription wasn't ready and would be available in an hour. On my third visit, I was informed that the prescription was out of stock and might be ready the next day. After much frustration, I had the prescription sent to another pharmacy, and I received it within the hour. Walgreens, your pharmacy needs to get its act together!

There were long wait times, and I think that the reason for this is that Walgreens here is pinching pennies on their labor costs and trying to cut corners at the cost of their customers. Perhaps a change in management is necessary. I am a young guy, and I guess I can wait. I guess. But it was absolutely unacceptable to me to watch the seniors in line spend an hour getting their medication.

The staff person, Terri, checked with me to make sure I was ok several times.
