I will never go to this pharmacy again! I made three attempts to pick up the medicine prescribed for my daughter. During my first visit, I was given someone else's prescription, which was for a dog, and they tried to charge me $60. After confirming that they processed it through insurance, I was charged $5 instead. Since I received the wrong prescription, I had to make a special trip back to the drive-thru to return it and request the correct one. They assured me that the money I paid would be refunded to my card, even though I had paid in cash. I waited in line for another 40 minutes, only to be told that the prescription wasn't ready and would be available in an hour. On my third visit, I was informed that the prescription was out of stock and might be ready the next day. After much frustration, I had the prescription sent to another pharmacy, and I received it within the hour. Walgreens, your pharmacy needs to get its act together! read more

The pharmacy here was slammed when I visited at noon on Saturday. The pharmacy techs were very nice, very helpful, and they were definitely working their asses off, but they were probably stressed. There were long wait times, and I think that the reason for this is that Walgreens here is pinching pennies on their labor costs and trying to cut corners at the cost of their customers. Perhaps a change in management is necessary. I am a young guy, and I guess I can wait. I guess. But it was absolutely unacceptable to me to watch the seniors in line spend an hour getting their medication. read more

I ordered a prescription in the morning. I got there 10 hours later. I was told it was out of stock! No apology. And I needed it that night. And that was after standing in line for 20 minutes. read more

They used to be really good about having your refills ready on time and updating you. Now they're closed for an unknown reason and I had surgery and sent my prescription there yesterday. Because they received it, I can't get it filled anywhere and it's the next day and they're still closed. read more

Once again Walgreen's on Pioneer was unable to provide me with a nedication I need. This happens everytime I need a refill, except for when a manager intervened for my last months supply. Dr's orders, do not stop taking without physicians concent. Guess that I don't need a doctor's consent because this pharmacy supersedes my doctor's orders by making me stop taking it for several days with each 30 day refill. I am going on 7 days since I ordered it. read more

got two phone calls saying my prescription was ready. got there and they said "we left you a voicemail saying we hadn't heard back from your doctor" but I had the two voicemails saying it was ready. caused a huge mess with the holiday weekend and ended up going through withdrawal from the medication read more

I was shocked to be asked to sign a release form when trying to print out my daughter's wedding photos. Not only did I have to spend over an hour on their incredibly slow photo kiosk, I had to deal with Walgreens refusing to sell me my prints until I could prove that the professional photos had already been paid for. These were photos I had already downloaded onto my phone because they HAD been paid for. Just in town for a quick visit to my 90-year-old mother. Wanted to give a set of prints to her before I leave town. While staff were efficient and courteous, I am horrified by such a draconian policy. Will never use this service again. Far less hassle to buy a quality Canon printer and print at home ( and the price is not that much greater). Printed the same photos at Walgreens in Houston with no hassle. No wonder the economy isn't doing so well here. The ethic here is to follow the rules excruciatingly scrupulously even if doing so flies in the face of common sense.... Absolutely ridiculous.
