The concession has the usual: hot dogs, popcorn, icee, etc. I think what knocked a star off my review was the costumer service. First I asked the attendant if the nacho cheese was spicy, he assured me it wasn't and gave me the slightest attitude. When he brought it over I quickly read the ingredients and there it was, Jalapeño (I can't have that for health reasons). Then after we paid for the icee he told us it was not ready, he said it would be 5 min... it was 15. No apologies or anything. We asked if someone could bring it since our movie was starting, and there were 5 of them behind the counter and no line, he said no. Sigh. Anyways, the theater itself was lovely but the experience at the concession stand deflated the mood. And having to miss part of the movie to go out and get the icee, was disappointing.

There was a good amount of parking in the lot that the theater was in but I did feel a little sketchy because of the area and how late it was. Walking inside and getting things from the concession was super easy and fast. Before heading into the theater, we all decided to use the restroom since the movie was close to three hours. The women's bathroom was so dirty and disgusting, I would have opted to not use it but I really had to go. This might have been the dirtiest bathroom I've been in in a long time and I don't really mind dirty public bathrooms. After getting out of the restroom as fast as possible, we headed to theater 8 for our movie. After walking in, we were met with a heatwave as soon as we walked into the theater. It was super hot and a stark difference from the regular, A/C regulated temp that was in the rest of the movie theater. We found our seats and the seats were all torn up. I understand that movie theaters are worn over time and this is a bit normal, unfortunately, but they were super torn and a lot of our seats didn't even seem level and a bit broken. I wish they'd block out these seats or even offer them at a discount. After being in the theater for a few minutes, one of us opted to go ask if they could turn on the A/C in there. They were given a bit of a run around and after asking a few staff members, guest services said they'd turn it down but it might take a while. We all were looking forward to this movie so we endured the heat and seats but the heat only slightly got better, to the point where I had to fan myself the entire movie. The experience of the movie in the theater as a whole was so bad that it truly impacted our whole experience of the movie. I would not recommend this theater (or at least theater 8) at all. I hope they do some much needed renovations to this theater or even at least upkeep the bathrooms and theaters to the best of their ability.

Although we had anticipated the cinema to be packed, given the live music events happening at the time, it wasn't busy at all---which gave us ample time to buy food, drinks and goodies at the concession stand. This kind of spectacular theater me really makes a city come to life with the old early 20th century look, the cute typical old style facade, and the Tower Theater is no different to many others you've seen, adding so much class and quaint gorgeousness to this area - and I can't help but think it's one of the most crucial pieces of architecture here. Prices for events aren't too high and I'd love to play here someday.
