It looks like you're driving into a tiny RV park behind a large white wall, and if I hadn't read the reviews beforehand, I probably would have kept driving. I'm so glad we didn't. The owners were some of the kindest, most welcoming people we've met on our 10 day road trip. The restaurant was spotless--honestly cleaner than many restaurants we've eaten at--and even the large restroom was exceptionally clean. We ordered the burgers and the fresh-cut, house-made fries, and both were fantastic. The burger was one of the best we had on our entire Colorado/New Mexico road trip, and I wish we had ordered more fries! As parents traveling with two young daughters, we especially appreciated how family-friendly they were. They had a huge basket of crayons and coloring books that immediately kept our girls entertained, which was such a thoughtful touch after a long day in the car. If you're driving between Colorado and Amarillo, this place is 100% worth the stop. Trust the reviews, ignore the outside appearance, and stop for a burger and fries. We'll absolutely be back on our next road trip.

Greeted by a young man who was taking orders then said he would be right with me but made 3 coffees while 3 girls were just standing behind the counter talking. One finally broke from the conversation and came to take my order since there was a line by then. The pastries in the case looked good but for the size they were a bit over priced. If o am going to pay $5-$6 for a scone you better make it at lease pie sized slice. They were closer to the size of the Starbucks scones and you only got one. The coffee I got was a hot crème brûlée. I took my first sip when I got back to my car and it lacked flavor. It was straight espresso and milk. I stirred it and still no flavor profile. Maybe the coffee is better if you get it for there.

My wife had the omelet/egg plate and I had the pancake plate every morning with coffee. The only thing we would change is a little darker coffee (but then again, we prefer really strong coffee). No this isn't a bad thing, but with a little bit of hearing issues, I try to be conscious that I might being talking loudly disturbing others. Might need a little background music??
