I would not recommend for anything related to the last two jobs: - He asked for payment before the job was complete (both faucets were not working when he demanded payment) - Quoted a price higher than his quoted hourly rate midway through the job (basically changed his rates midway thru the job) then preceded to man-splain why I should ask for rates prior to the start when I was aware of his hourly and the amount of time it takes to replace faucets. -Threatened to leave before he finished the work and I later realized that he made a mistake and it was going to take a lot longer than normal. - Ruined a working bathroom fixture and I had to call a plumber (which was less expensive) to fix and complete the job. - Didn't replace disposal trim and left corroded to save himself time. Although I paid for 3 hours of work for a kitchen faucet and disposal replacement. - The worst part is that he made inappropriate advances at me, made comments regarding my body and I felt extremely uncomfortable. The entire experience was unprofessional and as a business owner and property manager, I'm writing this review so others are aware. Hire at your own risk. 1 star because the first experience was fine and 1 star is the lowest choice available. Overall, terrible value, poor quality and disheartening experience as an independent, female property owner and longtime property manager.

My house is very complicated and tall, but he began climbing all over the house and the roof and even cleaned up some debris that had been trapped in a drain. He assured me that he would do a great job, and afterward emailed me a quote which I thought was very reasonable. About two weeks later, he began the project. Living near the ocean, my house is subject to dampness, hence thick layers of mold, so he began with a process of scrubbing, pressure washing and debris removal. He then began the painting process. One layer of anti-mold primer and two layers of high quality matte paint. The worst of the mold was on top of the parapets surrounding the flat roof, so he painted the tops of them with the same color but shiny paint so that future mold could not adhere so easily. Whenever he found something out of order, he would fix it. This included clearing outdoor drains, cleaning out light fixtures, repairing low areas on the roof where water would accumulate. He literally worked eight hours a day, six days a week for over a month. The man works alone but is a true force of nature. I am thoroughly thrilled with the result. I have never had a contractor who worked so hard and had such an attention to detail. I could not possibly recommend anyone more highly than Yani of JM Enterprises.

No job is too big or too small. He even managed my personal moves a number of times and prepared multiple properties for new renters - all with an attention to detail and old school "European Workmanship" that is all too missing in today's building environment. He's repaired leaks in the ceiling, then drywalled it to perfection, repaired and installed my skylights, treated and or replaced tiles, repaired cracks in outdoor stucco walls, helped in the garden, repaired and rebuilt fencing, fixed my hot tub motor, installed a large pocket door to help save space, replaced hanging cabinets, rerouted water that was sloping towards the house and added a gutter for proper drainage off the balcony. As a single professional women and property owner I can't imagine how i could have managed this all by myself. He was always reliable and respectful of my homes, cleaning up each day even in the middle of a project. He gets the job done right the first time and for sure has saved me lots of time and money.
