Their own paperwork explicitly noted this was for "seepage once worsens to leaks," yet the recommendation was invalidated per 2nd opinion, pushy, speculative and unwarranted! Unwilling to blindly accept a $3,500 repair quote, I took my Mom's vehicle to a trusted independent third-party mechanic for a second opinion. After putting it on a lift, they confirmed the undercarriage and oil pan were "dry as a desert." There is NO seepage, no oil leaking and the hypothetical repair is completely unnecessary. Quoting thousands of dollars in invasive engine labor for a purely speculative future issue feels like an aggressive upsell tactic for Financial gain and to explicitly soften the customer for 'potential' future repair issues. The car may not ever have an oil leak for years rather than offering honest service. I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere from now on. If you service your car here, read the wording on your paperwork carefully and always get a SECOND OPINION before handing over your wallet. I am bringing this to area customers attention as this business type of practice SEVERELY damages customer TRUST in their service department.
