I called Rob and asked if he had time to swap out 3 light fixtures in my home and upgrade a light to a light/ceiling fan fixture. I had specifically taken the day off to have this done. Rob called me back immediately and said two people would be over this afternoon. They showed up at 12:30 and installed everything on my list. They were even able to make a flush mount work on a vaulted ceiling with a couple adapters. That was a huge relief because I really liked that fixture. The hourly rate is competitive and the guys were very nice. I'd definitely use them again and refer them to friends. Thank you!! :)

It is our favorite lighting project to date. About a month ago, the lights started to flicker. I called on a Friday afternoon to see if someone could come out and take a look. On Monday morning, Chris (the owner) showed up to troubleshoot. Turns out the dimmer was malfunctioning. He replaced the dimmer and explained there would be no charge as it was still under warranty. Our experience with Artisan has outstanding every step of the way- from getting an estimate, to scheduling the project, the workmanship, and the follow up. I called F & S Wiliams at about 4pm and explained what was going on and they saif were going to send someone at night. I told them that wasnt necessary and I got a call from the technician the next morning and he was promptly at my house. Chris showed up and was professional and courteous. I explained him what i knew and what I had tried and he was able to run a few tests and diagnose that the system was freezing up. He explained to me the cost of refrigerant and offered to put that price in writing. I said that it was not necessary because F & S had been a good service for me 9 years ago when another company in town improperly installed my AC unit. Chris charged the system and encouraged questions. He stressed how important customer service is to him and his boss and any questions I had were not interfering with him. After the service was complete, he offered to bill me and I told him if I could use a card or check I could pay right now. He said card or check was acceptable and we settled up right there. It will be 95 degrees tomorrow outside but inside my house it will be a comfortable 68 degrees thanks, in part, to Chris and F & S Williams. I have used them before and if needed, I would not hesitate to use them again.

I'll preface my review by saying that good customer service is as important to me as getting a job…read moredone right. I had a post lamp in my front yard that had stopped working and found F C Electric here on yelp. My first red flag was when I called to schedule a service appointment, I was told they would have to check the schedule and see when they could fit me in, and that this couldn't be done while I waited on hold. I was called a couple days later saying they could fit me in, and could I please send them a picture of the light that wasn't working (without explaining why they needed a picture--I still don't know why they requested a picture). Asking for a picture did not inspire confidence. At the time of service, I received a phone call that they were on their way about 5 minutes before they showed up, which I appreciated the heads up. The truck was clearly marked as F C Electric, but the employees did not wear anything that identified them as such. There were two guys that seemed like they had some kind of joke going between them from the time I answered the door. Their behavior was immature and unprofessional. They diagnosed my problem and made a recommendation which I later implemented myself. They were at my house for less than 5 minutes. About a week after their visit, I received a text asking if my request had been handled, which I confirmed. Today I received an invoice for $127, which I thought was pretty steep for such a quick visit, including unprofessional demeanor. I asked one of the employees before he left how much the charge was, but he didn't know. I acknowledge I should have asked when I scheduled the appointment what their diagnosis fee was. I called Paul, the owner, to chat about the invoice and to share feedback about my experience. When I complained about the price and the unprofessional behavior of his staff, he became somewhat defensive instead of carefully listening to what I had to say. As a customer, it's never good to feel like the employees are valued over customers. I'm pretty sure the way most businesses work is that you have to have happy paying customers to succeed. To be fair, Paul did offer to delete the invoice, but I insisted to pay something and he said I could pay whatever I felt was right. I paid the full amount because it was mostly my fault for not asking how much the service visit would cost. The bottom line is that I will not go to F C Electric again when I have electrical needs and cannot recommend them.

F C Electric did an excellent job from start to finish. Communication was smooth and the end price was more than fair. After 2 weeks I called and the stated it had been miss files and would go in the next day and it was still and additional week before it was done. I have the copy of the deposited check so I can clearly see it was dated 22 days later. This is very inconvenient, and the fact that I called and it still took a week makes me wonder what kind of billing system they have?

These customers needed anywhere between 3- 6 extra visits to resolve the problem. One person had a water heater leak down into the ceiling of their kitchen. One person had an HVAC technician cut a large hole, he found out it was too large, and had to fashion a make shift plug for it to fit an air filter (who knows how long that will last) Overall, I recommend calling someone else. Rates are very high Service is slow and sub-par The VP of sales is a snake in the grass, and will lie his way into any sale he can make. The owner is one of the greatest skin flints of all time and has employees that have gone 5+ years without a single cent raise in pay... but he flies to Florida 5-6 times a year, drives a new Cadillac, and outfits his house with the latest and greatest... all while breaking the backs of his office staff to compensate for the union required yearly raises.
