This outfit leaves a lot to be desired. They quoted a job and then came onsight then stopped halfway through and wanted more money. They did a good awful job and left dents all over the yard. The people who showed up didn't speak English and immigration status is questionable. I made sure to report them to the proper agency to deal with the above since they plan to come back to my area. read more

We have a huge maple that needed a fair amount of trimming. Their representative, Victor, came out and gave me a very fair estimate. And even offered to cut down and remove another tree that was dead after we agreed on a price. The crew went above and beyond, and our maple looks healthy again. And our yard looks so much bigger with all the low hanging branches removed. Very happy we chose MH Tree Service. read more

I was amazed at how professionally H&M pruned two of our trees. Cleaned up very nice and all in less than 2 hours. Exactly what I wanted. I attached an after picture and a video of our honey locust tree in our back yard. I can't say enough. Plus the price was reasonable! read more

We needed extensive tree work done (2 trees and some evergreens pruned) as well as a large maple and stump/large roots completely removed. Victor had left a flyer shortly prior to us deciding to get the work done so I called and he came out and gave us a quote. We got another quote to compare but Victor sold us with his price and professionalism. A nicer fellow you will not meet. His crew did the job today and everything turned out great. I expected there to be considerable remedial work I'd need to do to re-grade the area where the tree was taken down (it was perched at the side of the yard with a retaining wall) but they ground everything up and I'll have very little to do to put in new grass or plantings. Couldn't be happier. read more

Great team and amazing work. In 2 hours they cut down two dying trees in our yard and trimmed 5 others and a couple of bushes. Very professional, and wonderful clean up. Highly recommended. read more

This is a bit late. We had them come out in the fall. Victor and team was great! Reasonable pricing, quick with quote and service. I would use them again in future. They did exactly what I wanted and completely cleaned up. Highly recommend. read more

The owner, Mario, and his team did a fantastic job trimming our trees. We found his company, M.H. Tree Service, because they left a flyer in our door. I'm happy they did because I was in need of tree trimming and wasn't sure who to call. They arrived on time, did the job well, cleaned up when they left. A+ service! We needed 7 trees trimmed and a small tree removed. They did not remove the stump of the small tree because they said they couldn't get their stump removal machine to the location of the small tree without hurting our brick paver walkway. read more

This tree service did a FANTASTIC job. Victor came out and gave me a fair quote, and he kept me updated because of the weather. Mario and his crew came out and did a great job . They removed 3 stumps , and had to climb a huge tree to cut down a very large limb I wanted gone . They all worked well together, and cleaned up my yard when they were done. I would DEFINITELY use them the next time I need tree service. read more

Left a pretty awesome review for these guys, I rushed my review. I was excited to have gotten the work done. Looking back on it now, they didn't cut as much as they said they would, told me certain branches weren't overhanging my property when they clearly were. (Didn't want to argue about it) Since their work was done multiple limbs have fallen on my property. If they would have cut what was agreed upon and I would have been more strict on holding them to it, I'm sure the work would've been great. The numerous limbs that have fallen and damaged property since are the sole reason for editing my review. They did come back to clean up some of my neighbors tree, not sure if there was any additional charges. read more

3rd year in a row dumb fr's walk past 3 no soliciting signs to place a bs advertisement at my door.i messaged last year to pay attention to customers wishes and keave us alone- once again, nope!!!!!!! must be absolutely stupid and or cant read,or worst yet, dont give a sh!t about what a homeowner wishes! unfortunately, here in boulder hill(kendall county) you have to jump thru hoops to file a complain against no soliciting violaters-even unregistered violaters.so these bozos come back again and again dont give a f!already posted on website:now on yelp! i was a union professional tree climber in past:couldnt even tell you color of companys trucks despite their promises of being in neighborhoods every year!!being one you know what to look for....shouldnt have to beg,or bs,looking for work.soliciting is even a lower set of quality standards!!! read more

Victor and the team did a brilliant job trimming our trees! We had a lot to do as it hadn't been done in 4 years, and it really needed a heavy-duty tidy. They trimmed a bunch of huge trees and removed a dead one. When they finished, the yard was left very tidy and free of debris. They are a friendly group of guys who did the job really well. I will definitely call them when I need it done again! read more

This company has the know-how and the equipment. They are professional, friendly, and very easy to work with. Plus, they are fast and reasonably/competitively priced. I hired M.H. to take down seven trees that were in pretty, bad shape. Five of these were near power lines. They gave me a competitive quote which included bringing the trees down, chipping and hauling away, and stump grinding and filling. They are fast because this team knows what they are doing and they bring the machinery to get the job done fast. I don't know the actual names of the equipment they used but they brought some sort of skid steer with a grabbing claw, large stump grinder, and chipper. Of course, they use chain saws and rope too. They can fell trees in tight spaces with a person climbing and ropes. Additionally, they provide peace of mind. They were kind to my neighbors who had to endure the activity. The team got a large tree out of the road in less than a minute for a car to pass. THEY ARE BONDED AND INSURED. I had a terrific experience with this company and I plan on using them again for additional trees I need to remove so I can replace them with healthier trees. read more

Average at best. Came over for quick, free estimate. Agreed on price but then delays in service. At least 2 weeks since original work date. Ended up doing a partially complete job AND gave excuse on why job could NOT be completed. Still paid FULLY AGREED UPON price with job only a 75% done. What was complete, was done well but don't tell me about what (else) you could have made because you encountered issues on my job. Just annoying. Would not use them again. read more
